Point with Rosado, Golovkin was fine going down to 158 for a guy he clearly didn't need to, when it comes down to a mega fight with Alvarez/Cotto I seriously doubt Golovkin balks at 157 and maybe even 155. K2 saying otherwise for now is called negotiating.... You don't give in to all of your opponent's demands up front.
Yea you're right, it should have been.....

GGG offered Rosado a catchweight, because he knew he didn't need one.

GGG demanded a catchweight from Ward, because he knows he needs it.

Only when I thought Mr. Son of Disingenuous (after what he did late Gossen) could not go any lower.

          YUP, he did it again

This fight would end up like Hopkins vs Trinidad - a beatdown in favour of Ward

So Roc Nation actually sent the offer after the Lemieux PPV was announced and it was clear that GGG is in line for Canelo Cotto afterwards?

HAHAHAHAHA WTF? Roc Nation and Ward are hilarious. I cant even stop laughing, how desperate can you be in trying to fool the public.

At least there are the clever people who know whats up and the rest can just fu.k off.

Thats the typical level of Ward fans. You call yourself a fan of the sport? Good to be on the other side.

But at the same time he already had the Lemieux fight set. Either way it should be considered an indirect negotiation along with this bs offer sent by RN after the Lemieux fight was already announced. All indirect negotiating.
Yeah, I saw that interview. GGG was asked a hypothetical question about Ward and replied that he would fight him with a 50/50 split on the money and the weight.

I don't consider that to be a negotiation between GGG and Ward. And definitely not a "demand".

This back and forth reeks of Mayweather/Pacquiao esque buildup.

In a few years we'll be paying $100 to see this ****.

There are a lot of striking similarities.

The Golovkin fans, that were Pacquiao fans, should have smartened up.

But unlike Mayweather/Pacquiao this fight will never happen imo.

Unlike Mayweather, Ward will never be viewed as a cashout opponent.

Ward needs to move on, possibly up to 175.
