I recently watched an interview with Nacho saying after he gets another World Champion logged in, he's walking away from the sport. I know he has a few fighters under him at the moment, with Vargas being his most prized prospect right now, but I think Canelo would have been an amazing fit for Nacho.

Sad, Nacho has had over 25 world champions under his tutelage, great trainer and it would suck to see him go.

IMO he'll be a hell of alot better. He'll have some people there that'll push him instead of babying him.

The thing is with those guys training Canelo it is Canelo that really runs the show.

It is not like they come up with really good plans, or they push him to his absolute limit physically.

I don't know that Canelo could really deal with a non-yes-man trainer at this point since that is pretty much what he has known.

              ^^This^^

I think Canelo has learned all he can from them. Its time for a switch, and now is the time while Canelo is still young.

Says the coward who took a knee before a Mexican and quit, and has ducked his mandatory multiples times lol. I'm Puerto Rican but Cotto should be the LAST person calling anyone a coward.

You're an idiot. You'd probably rather have fighters die in the ring than take a knee huh? And Cotto hasn't ducked his mandatory "multiple" times. He was allowed one voluntary defense which he took, than he was obligated by HBO to fight Canelo. Get your facts straight and your head out of Golovkin's ass. Fake ass rican
