  • How bad does a prime Roy Jones beat lil Golovkin?

I say he does him worse than he did James Toney.

Prime Roy Jones Jr @ 160lbs. vs Lil G... I got Prime Roy Jones Jr. by highlight reel T/KO. Lil G's team would avoid that fight like the plague. Lil G would boil down to 154lbs if Prime Roy Jones Jr. was at 160lbs and Ward was at 168lbs lol. Or Maybe he'd make 164lbs. Lil G weight similar to Canelo and 155lbs.

I'd have RJJ by wide UD. Golovkin hasn't even hit the canvas in almost 400 combined amateur and profesional fights. I think at first Golovkin might be able to not look completely lost, but eventually Roy Jones would just be toying with him. Golovkin could also of course stop Roy, but it's unlikely that he'll be able to land enough clean shots on him for that to happen.

Golovkin hurts RJJ badly. It's hilarious how much people overrate RJJ's actual "boxing skills". He was an athletic freak who lost all that ability once he got older.

          50/50 fight

RJJ hurts GGG badly. It's hilarious how much people overrate GGG's actual "boxing skills". Roy was an athletic freak, who had way more actual skills than GGG supposedly possesses. How can you really gauge anything from GGG when he hasn't fought anyone of substance yet, and he's already 33 years old.

Roy Jones is one of those myths. He was a great fighter but wasn't unbeatable. Must if these probably haven't seen many of Jones fights but rather his highlights.

GGG vs Jones is 50/50, Jones clowned on firemen but never against elite comp and factor in his suspect chin and GGG real power and you have an all time great battle.

He completely demolishes him, possible KO's him, without ever really getting tagged. GGG was never the same after.

And I like GGG, but at the moment the hypetrain is in full gear! He's overrated. KO's always make people delusional.

Just like beating a group of policemen make people delusional?
