This is a toss up match up in my opinion and I like Guerrero's chances a lot if only he can relentlessly back Danny up and force him to fight on the back foot because Garcia's weakness is that he cannot fight on the inside as evidenced in the Lamont Peterson bout which is Robert's strength.

Did you see Guerrero's last fight? Guy should have lost to a journeyman and got dropped by the kid (only had 4 KO's). I think that Thurman dished out an underrated beating on The Ghost and he's pretty much a shot fighter now.

I agree. That's the intangible right there. Team Garcia tend to believe that Robert is not the same fighter he once was after the beating he took at the hands of Keith Thurman. If that is indeed the case, then Guerrero doesn't stand a chance against Danny swift. However, if it's not then I am confident that he will give Garcia a run for his money.

I couldn't have agreed more. Angel Garcia is cherry picking the Ghost because they think he has nothing left; What a bunch a cowards? Why don't they do rematches with guys like Lamont Peterson, Mauricio Herrera and Lucas Matthysse. All three bouts were close controversial decisions and were warranted rematches but instead they chose only to rematch with a shot 36 year old past his peak and prime Erik Morales in a mismatch of a fight. Heck they didn't even offer Judah a rematch after he was handing Garcia his ass in the last three rounds of that bout. They was just happy to get away with the victory.

Ghost's past 2 fights saw him get his ass whooped by Thurman and nearly got knocked unconscious by a guy with 2 KOs. It's not a terrible fight, but it is average at best and Garcia should fight someone in the top 10 for his next fight. Paulie was his tune up.

Seriously, the combination of Thurman, Porter, Garcia, and Khan need to be in the ring with each other right now. No more waiting.
