ww is nothing special at all right now

thurman and porter aren't great fighters... they're guys people started prematurely throwing into the floyd/manny rivalry before they even did anything.. the same desperate "one good win and you're a star" environment that put algieri in there

      kell brook the uk equivalent

so the alleged best ever should have no problem fighting him. instead he fought someone worse than porter.

at least porter posed a threat. berto was basically a floyd groupie paid to spar floyd.

        not the same with porter.

alleged TBE should be judged differently than other fighters with higher standards.

        that's on him.

        not the fans.

ok subtracting old washed up retiring guys and shameless hypejobs with 1 win apiece (which leaves... Tim Bradley and Amir Khan as the backbone of the division)? featherweight is better off the top of my head

i'd just barely edge out heavyweight too
fury and joshua alone are about as promising and proven as the current wave of "anti-floyds"

floyd's best win to date is still diego corrales....

at or a one armed pacquiao who he possibly cheated with an illegal IV.

In Floyd's defense he retired this time because the was told by the NSAC that it was retirement or an investigation.

                  debatable.

Walters, Santa Cruz, Lomachenko, Mares or Pacquiao, Marquez, Bardley, Kell Brook, Shawn Porter, Garcia, Khan, Ali, you got guys like Matthysse and or Broner even someone like Terrence Crawford who could be fighting at 147.

147 is deeper than featherweight and has better names. 126 might have the better in prime fighters with walters, leo and lomanchenko.

its close. i favor 147 due to the sheer amount of names.

how do you base the strength of a division on guys that are not in the division yet?
