People who think that Showtime made money miss one very important part of PPV economics. The local cable/satellite provider gets half the ****ing money.

People are f#cking nuts if they think this deal was bad for Showtime.

        2013
Guerrero, ~840k-1M Buys (2nd Best Selling PPV of 2013)
Alvarez, 2.2M Buys, $150M Revenue (Best Selling PPV of 2013, Most PPV Revenue in Boxing History)

        2014
Maidana, ~900k Buys (2nd Best Selling PPV of 2014)
Maidana ~925k Buys (Best Selling PPV of 2014)

        2015
Pacquiao, 4.4M Buys, $400M Revenue (Best Selling PPV of 2015, Most PPV Buys in Boxing History, Most PPV Revenue in Boxing History)
Berto, n/a (Likely to be the 3rd or 2nd Best Selling PPV of 2015)

This is arguably the most successful PPV deal anyone has ever put together. Probably close to if not over 10M PPV Buys & probably $800M-$900M in Revenue. Show me something comparable to this success.

I suppose everything is all about the actual numbers between Floyd & Showtime, but I have a very hard time believing Showtime can break the PPV Revenue record twice during this deal & somehow didn't even come out with a profit lol.

Thats some nutty ass math you working with & Showtime the company would probably be out of business if they ****** that bad at business dealings to come away w/o a dime on the numbers Floyd achieved.

The numbers for Guerrero and both his fight with Maidana were never released or made official. Where are u pulling those numbers from?

Lets also not forget Showtime had to split the revenue from the ppv buys for the Floyd/Pac fight with HBO

So what? That just means they split the expenses too. You don't even know the details. Just STFU and stop acting like you know what you're talking about.

                Why you so angry? LOL.

Expenses and PPV profit split are 2 separate things you ABM.

Pac never violated a drug test. Roid Pedcheater Jr has numerous times including the Ladocain scandal that was also hidden by his non disclosure clauses in the fight contracts. He's a cheat like that bug eyed cheating piece of trash Aaron Pryor who fought on ******* and antihistamines in his water bottle. Go ahead and endorse these fighters and their cheating because theyre black so you think the world owes them and you something, but dont try to come off as anything but a race endorser when talking to a Boxing Purist like Lou Cipher. You ****.

Why are you jumping him and his post and claiming he doesn't know the details Instead of the post that had made up PPV numbers? Do details matter or does It only matter when It benefits a particular fighter?
