Will that turn you on? Unfortunately we all see enough running we don't need to see him dance to

This was the best Floyd has looked in some time. Sure his hands are definitely now shot. He only threw 400 punches and still hurt his hands. But his reflexes were still good. I think the reason people re criticizing this fight and Floyd's performance is because people didn't think much of Andre Berto to begin with. So even if Floyd knocked him out in 6 rounds they would not have been impressed. Berto was somewhat decent a couple of years ago and he's still got excellent hand speed. But Floyd at 38 was able to toy with him.
Check hook was there all night? Show me an example. I don't see any GIFs.

Lead left was there, mostly sloppy and inaccurate.

He landed 57% of his punches, I haven't seen the stats but I'd be shocked if most of those weren't jabs to the head.

Define "several". How many are we talking when you say "several". Because I saw about 5 or so accross 12 rounds. Show me otherwise.

I just don't know how you can possibly say that's the best Floyd has looked in years. Like what are you watching and what am I watching? I don't get it. He's fighting a guy who's completely tailor made for him, a guy with no Defense and a style extremely favourable to him and he's mounting barely any offense. Doing barely any damage. Spending way too much time on the ropes, initiating way too many clinches, struggling to land clean effective power shots and whenever trying to let's his hands go looks sloppy and inaccurate.

His defense was sharp and good. Only issue I had with his defense is he couldn't seem to find a way off the ropes at times.

The 1st, 11th and 12th were the only rounds I thought he looked any where impressive.

He had moments in other rounds but that's all they were, moments.

          Night and day.

And Floyd was pretty far passed it even in this fight but he's slipped a whole lot more in the last 2 years.

He landed the lead left several times in the first two rounds. Watch those rounds again. He checked hooked Berto many times to maneuver himself off the ropes.

But after rewatching the fight I'll have to agree Floyd did not look good. He only looked good in the first two or three rounds and then picked it up again in the late rounds. He did basically anything he could to slow down the pace of the fight. He looked more like Andre Ward than Floyd Mayweather in there. I still think he performed better in this fight than he did in the Maidana or Pacquiao fights and I'll stand by that statement. He barely hit those guys.
But he hit Berto with almost every punch and his defense was a lot better.

His reflexes are still good but his hands are practically shot. I will say this: Floyd is done as a top fighter. If he comes back and faces a top young guy he'll either lose or seriously struggle to win.

I have only watched the fight twice but I do not recall a single check hook to manueuver off the ropes so if someone could kindly provide some GIF's of Floyd check hooking off the ropes that would be great.

As for the lead hook, yeah, like I said, the first few rounds (most notably the first) were some of the only rounds he used it and it was still missing for the most part.

The 1st, 11th and 12th were the only rounds where Floyd mounted an impressive offense or somewhat impressive. It still wasn't that impressive really.

There were moments in other rounds but seldom moments outside of what was mainly defensive posturing and jabs to the head. Running the clock out, initiating clinches, laying on the ropes, etc.

His defense was good, his defense has always been good. Floyd literally relies on defense at this point without it he's finished. He's near finished anyway I think Floyd would have had all kind of problems if he was fighting Amir Khan last week and many other WW's to be honest.

He still beats Khan imo. Khan has been looking worse and worse as well and he's only 28. Chris Algieri wobbled him several times.

My eyes don't deceive me, maybe I have a more of an appreciation for body punching than most, maybe it's that.

                      I doubt it.

Maybe someone else who knows how to make GIFs can provide the endless display of body punching.

Because the GIF's provided this far in thus thread do nothing but support my argument.
