Some of those 21 statements are genius & hilarious. The fact of the matter is Mayweather's resume is impressive af for anyone with usable brain cells, but the fact that he fought so many good fighters & didn't lose f#cks up peoples ability to calibrate his resume vs others somehow I feel, for lack of a way of putting it. He must be fake cuz he never lost. Thats an issue people have with Marciano & Ricardo Lopez (although Lopez does have a draw that humanizes him a lil) too I feel & I feel like thats a thing with undefeated fighters like GGG, Thurman & Brook right now. People just seem to have a hard time giving an accurate, honest assessment of high level guys with zero's.

Mayweather having that bad guy persona also has poisoned him to a large segment of fans for getting considered honestly for his accomplishments. I don't believe Mayweather's place in boxing history gets defined well til another 10 years or so from his last fight (2025-ish prolly, assuming last night was the last) cuz some time needs to pass for many fans & some new fans need to come along with a un-poisoned opinion of him before they will be able to accept what Mayweather the fighter accomplished without the context of all the other bs that gets peoples panties in a bunch.

Aye, When some time passes and the hate and hype fade, the fighters can be ranked more accurately.

The stuff with the IV is indeed damaging. The problem is, Kevin Iole already wrote about it a long time ago. Houser took that and built a story around it to make it seem like something it wasnt. As Kevin tweeted last night, its a non issue. In fact, everyone who spoke about it, referred to Houser's article. I admit it is su****ious.

The problem is Floyd didnt break any rules, and NASC came out and defended Floyd. Also, Floyd took the iv directly after the weigh in. Which means, he probably has more problems making weight than he wants be to believe. This is the reason no one asked about the IV last night, and everyone stopped talking about it after only a few days. Because no one views it as an issue! The article was filled with innaccuracies and made it seem like something it wasnt!

Because at the time I don't recall them saying anything about PEDs, they only hinted at it though and instead of Pacquiao being a true champion and agreeing to the test to prove them wrong, he took the lamest way possible and went to court.

I think NSAC and USADA are the ones who should sue Hauser cuz he quoted people from NSAC and USADA in his article and according to USADA what he quoted wasn't true.

I don't understand this analogy. Goalposts move when things happen or don't happen. Goalposts don't stay in the same spot the whole game. Deals were offered at different times & not agreed upon.

You can't just go back to the 3rd & 1 position you had in the third quarter when you made a bad play. The TR side made many many many bad plays in the Manny vs Floyd fight talks (Freddie Roach has admitted to such) & afterwards would always act like the last deal had an indefinite time period to accept.

Fact is no one in the business of boxing is gonna offer the same deal in 2010 thru 2015 not Floyd, not Arum, not nobody with any intelligence. Things change on a dime in boxing. Value goes up & down all the time. Agree today or the deal might be better or worse tomorrow is the gamble. And ultimately the deal was good to less good to best for Manny & Floyd anyway so they both are lucky $-wise the fight didn't happen til 2015.

Floyd does not care about a clean sport once he put that across, and once Manny agreed to it months later there was absolutely no reason for Floyd not sign up for the fight at that point. He than went on some crusade about drug test, which all his ****riding fans lapped up.

Must be bitter sweet for them now there is more drug testing awareness but him being shown up as cheat.
