  • Remember guys, it's not Mayweathers responsibility to entertain his fans, while they fork out $80 to watch and he makes $30mil post fight. No, that's the job of everyone else from the people who have to sell the fight to his opponent. Mayweather is not accountable in any way shape or form.

^^LMAO.. The funny thing is that Berto actually came forward most of the fight, enticing Mayweather to throw combinations and provide some action, making the fight a better fight in my opinion.

The sad thing that people just can't seem to understand..Is that no matter who this guy fights, he turns them into what he wants them to be. He completely negates their unique ability in the ring, and makes them play Chess.

I'd love to see people stop being upset at Mayweather; we know what he is going to bring to the fight day in and day out...Start getting mad at his opposition. A lot could be learned from Robert Garcia's strategy with Marcos Maidana, although I strongly feel Floyd allowed it to go that way early in the fight and underestimated and didn't properly anticipate his Game plan.

This is such BS that it requires a response. Clowns like you want Floyd to risk losing instead of asking the other guy to risk winning. whoever is losing needs to do whatever they can to win.

If Floyd is behind on the cards (like he was Maidana 1 and Castillo 1) and doesn't fight to win, its not on whoever is ahead to try and KO Floyd its on Floyd to fight harder and take risks to get the win.

The reason Maidana 1 and Castillo 1 were exciting was the same reason the cotto and hatton fights were exciting-the guy losing on the cards kept fighting hard and stepped it up to try and win.

The reason the canelo, guerrero and Manny fights ****** is because the guy trailing never went balls out to win.

Lol someday when you begin to realize cherry picking to the last drop literally ehem Berto, running and hugging and pitty pat punches is not the true essence of professional boxing, especially the hugging part. You'll realize Floyd is missing the heart of true warriors and ATGs of boxing.

If he fought for glory then he will be liked and appreciated. It's been a tried and tested recipe since the dawn of time. Sadly, Floyd just wants to fight scared. Sorry to burst your bubble that's why people don't feel they get their money's worth, hence the boos when he was announced the winner of the Pac May fight. He has the responsibility to perform, but he always ends up making people sleep.

Great athletes excite, he makes you sleep. Sad truth. His mantra is to keep it safe. If it's excessive safe that's just called vagina boxing. Hence, people are relived his gone for good. Respect is earned. With the IV gate. respect is at an all time low. He did it to himself. In the end Cheaters never win.

And that's what the haters don't understand. There is a significant segment of fans and casuals who tune in for that EXACT reason. And from that aspect, Mayweather ALWAYS delivers.

I'm a Pac fan, but that was my reaction.

If someone can make you change who you are then it shows they got to you.

He actually has a valid point. There are 2 boxers but Mayweather fans don't see it that way.

Yes the guy who was trailing never tried to make the fight, blah blah blah. It's not because Floyd was holding right?

No he doesn't. Whoever is losing the fight IMO needs to do what they can to try and win. If its Floyd losing then he needs to step on the gas, if its the other guy, its on him.

Let's take Floyd out of the equation. You and others would NEVER suggest a guy with a big lead in a fight risk losing in any other situation-you'd be yelling for the guy losing to step up and fight.

I see your point. But it's not like Floyd takes the fight to anyone. Fact is, there are still two people in there. To say that Floyd doesn't need to do anything is nonsense.

Now you can say well thats how Floyd fights and everyone who is watching should know that he's all defense. Personally I have never paid to watch him fight because he's boring. But I respect his talent and all hes done for boxing.
