If Mayweather has continuously done such things and he may have done considering it's been reported on before, he deserves to be ridiculed, fined, stripped of ALL belts, past and present and banished from the boxing spot light/history like Armstrong has been from cycling.

You act like none of that will cost him? Of course it will. Plus it sends a harsh, no nonsense message to future sportsmen. Currently, boxing is one of the worst regulated sports on the planet. We are getting a whole new breed of fighter who doesn't care about weight, in ring rules, training regimens and being "clean". If there is any sport on this planet where being on PEDs can change lives for the worse, it's boxing.

This sport, with it's history of Mosley, Toney and co all still hailed as heroes, ATGs and future HOFers needs to grow up, move out of its mother's basement and make it's own, distinguished way in the world.
Thing is, everybody's on them, but very few have pointed fingers (Peterson, Berto, Memo conditioned Paulie), and nobody else has gone on a 5+ year spree of ****ting on a rival with no evidence, and proclaimed himself #1 PED crusader in the sport.

Does it matter if a terminally ill person commits murder?

I don't like this, "everybody is on them" rubbish. It diminishes what is likely legitimate achievements from guys like Wlad, Pacquiao and co.

Let's talk about the guys who are suspected with evidence backing up those su****ions...guys like fat Toney, Mosley, Mayweather and several others. The Mayweather issue has been on going for many years now and this isn't the first time that an American athlete has been protected by so called anti-doping agencies, these cover ups go all the way back to the 1980s at the very least.

But to say "they all do it" diminishes the value of legitimate achievements, cheapens the argument and makes the person saying it sound like someone who doesn't have a clue.

The biggest problem with all this is it happened in May. All the people who'd be handing out a punishment knew this in May. It was reported in the news in May. Now in September, cuz Thomas Hauser wrote a story he bit off from articles printed in May, some fans are saying its an issue. If this was really an issue it'd been handled in May by the people that knew about it in May. No one who's able to punish Mayweather is gonna do it after 4 months of not acting like it was a problem.

Does doing bad things keep anyone out of the boxing HOF lol? Serious question? Cuz boxing has some bad mfers. Pretty sure there are at least a couple murderers in the boxing HOF iirc.

Why would a commission make a fight a NC in September when they knew the facts about it in May & were okay with it? Hauser wrote an article about **** that had been googleable since May & somehow the facts in May have changed now? I think people are being fooled into thinking Hauser broke new news. Everything Hauser wrote was widely available information from May 2015 or before (outside of a few quotes from calls he made iirc, but nothing earth shattering there either except confirming things already said iirc). You can't change a fight to a NC cuz a guy wrote an article about some **** people knew already.

I don't think crimes outside of the ring should matter, but cheating should. Not that Margarito has much chance of making the HOF, but his wraps incident should be enough to keep him out if he did.

You're so wrong it's not even funny. Backlash is everything, the NSAC. If the NSAC feel they are in the line of fire than USADA and Mayweather will be the scape goats.

If people protest than action will be taken. But if everyone is meek about it than nothing will happen.

But to honestly answer the question Floyd should pay a hefty fine in the 9 figures, plus have many of his fights turned to NC. Plus be barred from being inducted in the HOF.

Anyone who doesn't think Floyd cared about legacy is crazy, he just knows he doesn't have do much to be inducted and be considered an all time great.
