Yes. This should be kept in mind.

White tested positive for steroids and was suspended, why wouldn't he be the 'villain'?

You're hardly going to hype up a drug cheat when you've got a potential mega star in the other corner who is very likeable and popular.

          Wilders 14th opponent was 11-38

Cornish was 21-0 and Joshua's last opponent had never been stopped in 40 odd fights including going the distance with Klitscho

His progression of opponents is actually pretty good but he's just ripping through them easily.

Really? Lucky bastard. How the heck? Was this actually seen as a competetive fight odds wise?

Correction: Whyte has never tested positive for steroids.

He drank a can of an over the counter energy drink called Jack3D before a fight, not knowing that one of the ingredients was on the banned substance list.

The manufacturers changed the recipe of the drink to make it legal for athletes to use, but the shop Dillian bought his can from were still selling old stock that should have been withdrawn from sale.

The BBBOC accepted Whytes explanation that he used the drink innocently but they banned him anyway, for 2 years, for not taking sufficient care to check the ingredients himself.

I agree with the conclusion of this BBC sports article. Whyte was used as a scapegoat.

It wasnt. I assume LacedUp bet big on first round stoppage.

He tested positive for a stimulant in an over-the-counter drink - big difference. And you are aware a large proportion of top heavyweight will be on the gear?

Very likely. However, innocent until proven guilty is how things work.

Why would anyone expect a major company to push someone who has served a 2 year drug ban over Joshua, who is extremely marketable, very popular and looks a tremendous prospect?

Sky are doing what any business would do.
