But there are better free fights on this year and I'm sure that will only get bigger. In my opinion, no fighter is worth spending $50 to see, much less $75.

He is retiring at the right time to be honest.

The fight everybody wanted happened, it didn't go as many people hoped it would...Why Keep Watching Either Fighter? Fans got what they wanted and the guy they wanted to win couldn't and now I think a lot of people have just moved on from boxing until another big match up comes along like Cotto vs Canelo maybe

Mayweather shattered every record possible Gate and PPV, wasn't a match he could have taken that would have came anywhere close to what Mayweather vs Pacquiao did

Ready for Cotto vs Canelo, also ready to see other welterweights like Thurman vs Porter it is time to move on from Mayweather ERA

I think Floyd is a great fighter, i'm not buying this fight, my opinion is that this fight sucks. If the fight flops, it would simply be because not too many people felt like buying or chipping in for a $75 low quality fight

Floyd has legitimately hurt the sport with his boring performance against Pac, my friends blame him for not watching boxing anymore. There sick of wasting $ on fights when all he does is fight safe, and in there minds, all of boxing is becoming like that.
I'm sorry, I don't know them personally or what their real reason is, or their knowledge on boxing, but your friends don't sound like boxing fans. One boxer made them stop watching boxing? There's 17 weight classes, 9 more P4P fighters, 10 contenders per weight class...and Floyd made them stop watching boxing? Big lol to that.

the argument that khan might not have enough to win therefore floyd might as well fight the absolute most pathetic no hoper the commission will allow (berto) is great

who knows what national or racial bias is at play there (it's not a rational opinion a neutral observer would ever have) but who cares

i'm just glad this won't go on for much longer

Haha. That must be the true source. I can definitely say that I would not work ten minutes to earn money for the fight. Daddy needs to put his foot down.

Berto isn't better than any of them
Brave admission from you. Admit he's worse than all of them and you'll be on the road to recovery.

most fans even hardcore don't sit around and watch every fighter in every weight.

They get excited for the stars and don't care about the rest. That's how most sports are.
