Because it's so under the radar, I am starting to think like this.

I almost thought to put bets on a ko since that is really the only bet worth a **** on the lines unless of course you think Berto could pull it off.

Berto has the handspeed to give Floyd some trouble. Does he have the intelligence to put it to good use? Maybe not. He can also take a punch as apparent in his fights against Ortiz and Karass. Yeah, he got knocked the **** out, but not before some serious bombs landed on him. If he were to keep his aggressiveness after feeling Floyd's power, this might be a decision Floyd is really going to have to earn.

I don't doubt Berto's physical abilities. The fight isn't a mismatch because of that, it's a mismatch because Berto doesn't possess the mental capacity to utilize them all together.

It would be funny if Breto actually somehow makes it a war and Floyd has no choice to fight. The fight no one wants to see from him turns out be his most exciting one yet.

When Berto is a headliner he sells like a thousand tickets, Tops. He's literally a nobody.

Khan's long straight fast style would be tougher for Floyd than his usual diet of deliberate punchers.

You don't have to love Khan to admit that would be a much bigger, much more profitable, much more competitive fight. This is a duck. Sure, it's a retirement duck and people are letting it slide, but it's still a duck when you fight the vastly inferior option.

People were calling for Floyd to fight Brook, Lara, Khan, Thurman, Garcia, Crawford, GGG. Nobody was wanting or expecting him to fight Andre daggum Berto.

Brook- nobody knows him in the states

Lara- you would call it boring

Khan - other than looking terrible in his last fight, isn't that big of a name in the US

Thurman - fought nobody

Garcia - people criticized the hell out of it

Crawford- do you follow boxing?

GGG- do you believe in the tooth fairy


There is no 1 standout opponent. The best choice is to fight Berto, make it exciting and retire for good.

I think boxing was a much better sport when they were no PPVs. All other major sports are on free TV. Boxing should be as well. There is just no guarantee of a good fight, no matter who is fighting. You can try, but even the best potential match-ups can turn out to be terrible.

But there are better free fights on this year and I'm sure that will only get bigger. In my opinion, no fighter is worth spending $50 to see, much less $75.

And that's a first for Mayweather fights. If anything, the only mentions I see are about NOT watching the fight. I don't see how this will break even 800K. And no, 800K isn't a good number for Mayweather.

It's bad promotion. A sport can't grow when people do not even know who the real players are. Can't do that if they have to cough up money just to find out.

And I thought this fight was going to be for free after the May robbery. Definitely should have been.
