If Khan is aiming for Thurman, Porter, or Garcia, then I understand. If not one of those, then I can't understand why he would turn down Provodnikov. That would have been a statement win, and he should have been able to easily outbox Ruslan! Khan needs a big win if he's gonna get Pacquiao or Mayweather!

but there is also that risk that he just might get caught and ko'd!

very true but it doesnt look like he is going to do it unless its Floyd or manny for those big "retirement fund" bucks.

A loss to either of those means Brook remains viable for another money fight (loss) then off into retirement.
