Boxing should be the only sport that we pay for. I don't mind paying as long as they can make a match happen. These guys take too much risk to entertain you for free they deserve a million dollar pay day at some point

Fans don't "WANT" to pay $65. They are just WILLING to pay (as long as they get what they want).

No PPV should be for like the 1% of match ups, these two guys are virtually hard to sell to casuals for half that rate or even free, they just do not have name recognition needed to sell alot of PPV's without another huge name next to theirs. This is an undercard fight for guys that do have names to be 100% honest.

PPV? What happened to her Russian big spenders that could buy out Haymon 10 times over?

Its better than Mayweather Berto or Golovkin Lemiuex so I'd say yes

I don't recall this with Kovalev though aven't heard much news about him in a while. I know this was being brought up for Wilder though.

Will be entirely dependent on what the entire show ended up looking like, tbh.

Stevenson vs Kovalev, for the undisputed/unified light heavyweight championship of the world, is a gigantic fight and arguably one of the five biggest fights that could be made in the sport. As a standalone fight, I wouldn't be bothered with paying $45sd for the fight (assuming I was hosting; otherwise, I'd probably be out at a bar somewhere).

Beyond that, any other dollar value needs to be added to the show, either by undercard or by spectacle. Main Events, as a company, doesn't have the depth of the roster to stack the bill, therefore:

-fight opens up the new MGM arena in Vegas: ($5 more for PPV)

Not sure how they'd get to $65.

I think she recently had a meeting with some Russians and she said that lol. Clearly not the case though cause of those guys were behind her they would do the purse bid and just pay whatever

I don't ever buy fights because I am too cheap to pay 50 bucks or more to watch a fight I can watch free on direct tv in a week. This is a super fight and if a fight should be pfv this is one of them.
