Fights are put on PPV if they think it has the potential to create a sizable amount of money for the promoters/networks/fighters. Not whether or not you think there's enough "prestige" in the fight.

Hell yeah it is. The hype leading up to the fight will be epic!
But $39.99 for standard and $49.99 for HD

If it's about the fighters making as much money as possible then, yes a ppv pay out is going to bring in more than any network especially if it's one of the most anticipated fights out there.

HBO would be in charge of that, they just had Pascal-Gonzalez on a Kova undercard and they put that little Roman Gonzalez guy on GGG undercards.
