I'm surprise that no one has picked up on two things about Spence. A) he was rocked hard a few fights back so his chin still needs to be proven and B) He is slow. Slow of hand, foot, and doesn't use much head movement. His combinations are slow and predictable. His speed is just not there. His speed is more in line with an average middleweight. And worse, he does not belong in the same breath as the ATG's he was mentioned with tonight.

Excuse me for egging the Floyd ravers on earlier, but anyhow. Spence is wasting his time, he knows it. If this wasn't a mismatch he was worlds above this guy in skill, speed, what not. Canelo fought 40 something times before he stepped up and he still fights like he did 20 fights ago, just bigger. Spence can step up easily in class and a loss in a quest for a title is no disgrace just like an undefeated record is no guarantee. Vanderheerden's undefeated record meant squat.Comment

I noticed some of that you're saying, but what's he going to do? Learn how to get faster? Time to go to war, make what he has work. Timing, stamina, desire, physical strength, he has lots of tools to throw at speed.I'm surprise that no one has picked up on two things about Spence. he's wasting his time fighting these guys. Dude isn't improving his footwork, head movement, a jab so I believe he should step up the competition.Comment
