AJ is the biggest hype job in boxing right now, he didn't even win his gold medal the legit way good ole fashion British robbery.
Now he is making a name out of fighting nobodies and guys who aren't that good, Khan was fighting guys with good winning records way before AJ started doing that (AJ will only start doing this against unknown Cormish)

You are 100% right, he will never be ****** out in 30 seconds by a 'C' class fighter.

Here is the 'thing' with Joshua.

He is the Matchroom cash cow.

Potentially the biggest revenue stream they will ever have.

He has the very best training, support and marketing (and very possibly the best PEDs).

There is NO WAY he will face serious competition until the has a HW title.

Dylan Whyte is decent, but since turning Pro Joshua has enjoyed every possible benefit and advantage as well as big paydays already.

All this BS about the amateur days is just a marketing smokescreen, Joshua will have no problems putting Whyte away inside 4 rounds.

I am not hating on Whyte, in fact I feel for the guy. Even if he did beat Joshua, he would still only be 'the guy who beat Anthony Joshua' not the next big HW hope.

I'd love to see Whyte KTFO Joshua just to see the smug look wiped off Eddie Hearns face.

I think Eddie has Dillian Whyte signed to Matchroom now too, so its kind of big win/ little win situation for him. Obviously he wants his big investment to succeed, but if his smaller investment wins and gets some hype behind him then thats not exactly a bad situation either. Depending on the type of fight it is a rematch could be big money whoever wins.

Dont really see why that matters when you are talking about him as a prospect. Its annoying having the Sky team talk about it constantly, but the fact is he was one of the best amateurs in the world after only a few years boxing and under 50 fights. Thats impressive whether he got an Olympic gold medal or not.

I think Dillian Whyte will have a decent career whatever happens vs Joshua.

Really interested to see what Jonathon Banks does with him, he looked better already vs Costa. Klitschko speaks very highly of Banks as a trainer and Dillian is something of a blank slate for him to work on.

I agree, inasmuch that on terms of raw ability and motivation Whyte and Joshua are pretty much equal. You could even make a case that Whyte is a more 'natural' boxer where Joshua is a better 'athlete'.

The problem for Whyte is that Joshua has been marked for greatness by Matchroom and the UK media - he will get all the help he needs to win a HW title whereas guys like Whyte will have to do much, much more to even get close the opportunities lined up for Joshua.
