    NSAC v. USADA

Looks like this is just heating up...Bob Bennett has become very outspoken against USADA.

    Wonder when the hearings start...

    Lance Pugmire @latimespugmire · 49m49 minutes ago
Told by Nevada commission members that UFC fighter Frank Mir similarly obtained a TUE from USADA last week that Nevada ruled inadmissible.

    Lance Pugmire @latimespugmire · 49m49 minutes ago
"They're confusing the fighters," Nevada commission executive director Bob Bennett said of USADA.

Mir had been taking Adderall, I'm told by the commission, he stopped when told to.

Bennett said "my experiences to date (with USADA) have been less than acceptable and less than professional."

    Bob Bennett, NSAC:

"As far as USADA, I was extremely disappointed that I wasn't notified right away (about Mayweather receiving an IV). When it comes to TUE, we are the sole agency that approves the administering of TUEs. USADA, nor any other anti-doping agency that does drug testing, doesn't have the authority to adminster a TUE.

"The bottom line is USADA didn't keep us informed, which is totally unacceptable and unprofessional."

The Las Vegas Review-Journal is Nevada's most trusted source for local news, Las Vegas sports, business news, gaming news, entertainment news and more.

Bob Bennett (who worked for the FBI before assuming his present position as executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission) has this to say: The TUE for Mayweathers IV - and the IV was administered at Floyds house, not in a medical facility, and wasnt brought to our attention at the time - was totally unacceptable. Ive made it clear to Travis Tygart that this should not happen again. We have the sole authority to grant any and all TUEs in the state of Nevada. USADA is a drug-testing agency. USADA should not be granting waivers and exemptions. Not in this state. We are less than pleased that USADA acted the way it did.
Questions surround drug testing for Mayweather-Pacquiao and other bouts

What's interesting about the Frank Mir part of this, is that USADA had reportedly approved a TUE for Adderall, which the NSAC didn't allow.

Adderrall just happens to be what Shane Mosley Jr. tested positive for, and was suspended for. Mosley Jr. didn't apply for a TUE or notify the commission...

Team Mosley: Test Failure is Innocent Mistake, Adderall

It was recently reported by BoxingScene.com and other media outlets that Shane Mosley Jr. tested positive for amphetamines in his post-fight drug test after his crushing 51 second knockout of Jason Kelly on the June 27th BKB event at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
Adderall is a very common prescription drug used to treat ADHD. The Nevada State Athletic Commission does allow its athletes to apply for The****utic Use Exemptions which does include using Adderall.

NSAC suspends John Molina Jr., Raymundo Beltran, Shane Mosley Jr.
Mosley, the 24-year-old son of former pound-for-pound king and three-division world champion Shane Mosley Sr., tested positive for an amphetamine -- Adderall, which is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder -- following his 51-second knockout victory against Jason Kelly on June 27 in a Big Knockout Boxing card at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Although Mosley (4-1, 4 KOs) had a prescription for Adderall, he did not notify the commission on his prefight questionnaire or seek a the****utic use exemption. Mosley was suspended for seven months and fined $6,250 -- 25 percent of his $25,000 purse. Because BKB bouts are not official boxing contests, his boxing record will remain the same, although the victory was changed to a no-contest on his BKB record, meaning he is officially 0-0 in BKB bouts.

Although Mosley will be eligible to fight again in January, the suspension has already cost him at least two fights. He was scheduled to fight on the Sergey Kovalev-Nadjib Mohammedi undercard at Mandalay Bay on July 25 and on the undercard of his father's rematch with Ricardo Mayorga, which is scheduled for Aug. 29 at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

Hadn't heard Mosley Jr got popped for Adderall that he had a prescription for. And this is just one of the reasons why I'm pro-PEDs after having been hardcore anti-PEDs for a long time up til a couple years ago. Seems like bs a guy can be suspended for something like Adderall & its something a doctor has decided he needs. So much silly ass forms & redtape bs involved in all this stuff.

usada was supposed to be there to catch treating but now that we know they were there to cover up cheating they are finished. NSAC should rule it a no contest and suspend/fine floyd. maybe after the berto fight bombs they will do this.

They made a deal with the devil when they started to accept personal contracts. It should have never been done that way and should have been adopted by the commissions, and paid through them to keep everything kosher for all parties involved.

                    $335,000

                    scam artist.

                    floyd can easily buy him.

its in his best interest financially if fighters continue cheating. if the sport was literally cleaned up tomoro, he would be out of business.

this is reaching chapo guzman enrique pena nieto level of corruption.

                    sad situation.

this 10x worse than chapo guzman escaping maximum security. that's a scientific fact.
