    I always said Maloney put him in the deep end before he learned to swim. He went from fighting C level journeymen to fighting a top 10 HW at the time. To think people thought Fury ducked him. Look at them 2 years later. Price could be done & Fury is getting his title shot & a huge pay day. I would have put him in with a couple of C+ guys or maybe even a guy on the fringe like Malik Scott or Kevin Johnson. I'm not sure if taking a few more fights would have helped but he was never the same after the Thompson rematch. Even though he got KO's in the 1st fight I believe it was the rematch that crushed his dream. He trained hard & was confident he just got caught in the first fight. His career changed the moment he watched Thompson get up after he laid him out with his best shot. I truly believe at that moment he realized his dreams of being the HW champion were never going to come true. Never been the same since. Klitschko was the only other HW to hurt Thompson like that & nobody did that to Thompson since. He had no answer once TT showed he could take his best shot.
