As a Journalist I can tell you so much goes into a story that sometime the timing is just that, the time.
You have to research, contact and check source, and check source, and check sources. Cross references. Get editor approval, do what the editors say needs to be done, then write.
After writing, then it's editing again. Then you need to check sources again, maybe find a new source to cooperate with the investigation.
Not always in this order, and sometimes things go fast.
Yet a story of this magnitude, the publication had probably Bent over backwards to dot the I's and cross the T's.
This is a career defining type story if it unfolds a deeper scandal.
Not to mention running it by legal experts to look for possible lawsuit material.Comment

Your sig tells a look about floyd, Him pounding his chest asking for recognition for winning the fight in the mgm grand. The thing is he didnt get the recognition, hence, the boos resonated in the mgm crowd.
Now with this unfortunate event of fraudulent behavior by Floyd, his asking for recognition just went into a black hole were fishing it out will never happen.
