So Stop Calling Floyd A PED User.

These Football players getting suspended for weed. Weed is not a performance enhancer. It is just a banned substance. If Floyd were on PED's, then you can question his legacy. But as of now, you really can't say much until all the facts are gathered. Again, it is very suspect that this comes out days before his fight. It is just like the Miss Jackson Gold Digger incident last september. Again, we have to wait and see.

you been brushing your hair too hard brush.

what floyd took was an illegal iv transfusion used to mask peds and other banned substances.

you and floyd saying he took it for dehydration is like lebron saying he wanted to tell the world he was leaving cleveland for miami for the foundation he was donating money to during that idiotic conceited night with jim gray.

just ask your mind this; why in the hell would floyd need to do an illegal iv transfusion for rehydration when 1) i thought floyd doesnt rehydrate that much doe? that's why he stopped showing his fight night weights to networks doe?

    2) there is

    so again,

how in the world does a guy who is deemed by many ON BOTH SIDES to be a "small" welterweight/ not a real 154 pounder have to use an illegal iv transfusion for dehydration? why couldnt he just drink normal fluids? why use an illegal banned iv infusion?

    ITS ILLEGAL FOR A REASON.

its used to mask peds and other substances arbitrarily banned by inferior creatures of planet earth.

this entire situation just seems suspect as ****, completely agree.

floyd has to go up in weight as well to reach his fighting limits according to himself and his father, he always claims he is the smaller man with the better ability, he forces lower catchweights on middleweights hes fought such as cotto and canelo, with all that in mind, he should not be having weight issues period also throwing in his experience and "hard work and dedication"

i am not cheating expert or know much about it but why do what he did it makes no sense. just reading them articles reacting to this, it hits you how many boxers cheat to get a advantage.

It’s a matter of record that, since then, Fernando Vargas (stanozolol), Lamont Peterson (an unspecified anabolic steroid), Andre Berto (norandrosterone), Antonio Tarver (drostanolone), Roy Jones (an unspecified anabolic steroid), James Toney (nandrolone, boldenone metabolite, and stanozolol metabolite), Brandon Rios (methylhexaneamine), Erik Morales (clenbuterol), Richard Hall (an unspecified anabolic steroid), Cruz Carbajal (nandrolone and hydrochlorothiazide), Orlando Salido (nandrolone), and Tony Thompson (hydrochlorothiazide) are among the fighters who have tested positive for the presence of a prohibited performance enhancing drug or masking agent in their system.
just reading that makes me sad, some of them are still active and in upcoming ppv's. competitive sports are just completely ****ed. it really wouldnt surprise me if floyd did something.

It says in the article the mixes are approved by NSAC, not illegal according to NSAC. The only problem is USADA didn't tell NSAC about it.

This isn't a sport where you're hitting baseballs, sprinting to the finish line or running away from contact from dudes with full gear and padding. This **** is hand to hand combat. You look at guys like Meldrick Taylor, Wilfred Benitez and even Roger Mayweather and it's sad.

If Floyd cheated, he should be punished and that's that. With that said, it's to early to accuse him of anything so hopefully an investigation is perfromed and we can get to the bottom of this.

It puts things in perspective. Fighters in his gym testing positive, rumors of the man himself failing 3 times before, and now this.

Good post. The reaction has been a bit over the top. Armstrong comparisons are hilariously undue right now and yet people are making them.

                That's really the problem.

The substances itself isn't the issue, WADA doesn't find saline illegal neither I wouldn't think.
WADA has justified the inclusion of IV infusions on the Prohibited List given the intent of some athletes to manipulate their plasma volume levels in order to mask the use of a prohibited substance and/or to distort the values in the Athlete Biological Passport. Further, it must be clearly stated that the use of IV fluid replacement following exercise to correct mild rehydration or help speed recovery is not clinically indicated nor substantiated by the medical literature. There is a well-established body of scientific opinion to confirm that oral rehydration is the preferred the****utic choice. Legitimate medical indications for IV infusions are well documented and are most commonly associated with medical emergencies (emergency TUE), in-patient care, surgery, or clinical investigations for diagnostic purposes

The first was a mixture of 250 ml of saline and multi-vitamins. The second was a 500 ml mixuture of saline and Vitamin C. He was urine tested both before and after taking the solutions.

Nevada rules permit the mixes that Mayweather took, but because USADA was overseeing the testing he applied for and was granted the TUE for them.

                    All tests came back negative."
USADA is not allowed to grant a TUE. It can only be done by the NSAC. Besides, in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Agency standards that USADA uses, only 50 ml of the saline solution can be used every 6 hours. It is not allowed to pump in 750 ml of saline in one sitting, because it is system flush.

Yes, it's usually only administered in light of a medical emergency, usually in a hospital. Not in your bedroom with your homeboys.
