Comments Thread For: Mayweather: No Fighter in History Had More Big Fights

If Floyd Mayweather remains true to his word, then Saturday night will be his last night as a prizefighter, after which he will devote all of his time and attention to the continued growth of Mayweather Promotions. The last call comes against former titlist Andre Berto, with their 12-round World welterweight championship clash headlining Saturday evening at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

No fighter in history disappointed more fans, or wasted more time, or cherry picked so much, or waited until good fighters were faded til he fought them, or ducked more anticipated fights, or blatantly pissed their pants in front of Margarito, or beat more women etc etc etc

historical fighters didn't have televised ppvs or the option of fighting once or twice per year so yeah... neat accomplishment

You're not a fighter Floyd! You're a super defensive Olympic boxer who just so happens to be at the right place at the right time.. best case of career managing I've ever seen..

as far as champions you've beaten.. only chico corrales and Ortiz (can't really call him a champ, cause belts mean nothing) because other were robbed in Castillo, Maidana... some can say DLH... and the rest were just outran.. out clinched, out elbowed, out danced, forced into mismatches..

so yes.. you're great at being business savy!

I only consider the following Floyd fights big
              De la Hoya
              PAC
              Cotto
              Hatton
              And corrales
              Other than that none
So 5 big fights that's not saying much
              U

if you read the whole comment you'd understand..

I really don't even hate him.. I hate what he portrays himself to be.. he's good.. not great.. he's too defensive to be getting paid that much.. he doesn't care about the boxing fans.. you remember the "we're not here to prove to the fans who the best is, we're here to make the best business decisions".. or something like that..

                    Mayweather after this post

I thought I was the only one who thought Mayweather looked like Super Macho Man when he came back against Marquez..

Dude walks through Maidana's punch on the chin..loses to Castillo then he's walking through everyone's punch but he was getting rocked by Corley and Judah...

Clearly juicing..nobody uses IV for dehydration unless very sick...one of the most bizarre excuses...and this happened with a wavier request after the fight...

                    Roid Mayweather..is exposed..
