Joking aside, its good to see that stance from Alis side, but considering its the WBO they will cater to Bob as always. Im just surprised Rios is a Top10 WW then again not so surprised, when you have 3-4 guys who dont compete outside of that group of 3-4 fighters and add in a controversial decision or 2(considering its TR), the ratings go absolutely NOWHERE..thats how you keep a guy like Rios rated. By the sounds of it, Bob would rather have his guy drop the title than to defend against Ali. When is this MFer gonna die!??
Faith in NSB has been restored.

I am glad i am not the only one who can see right through that rotten house top rank antics!

Can someone please explain how every other boxer in the world is allowed to take 2 voluntary defenses before they have to fight their mandatory, yet Bradley just wins the belt and is being forced to fight his mandatory already? Deontay wilder is allowed to fight bum after bum while avoiding povetkin ,cotto was allowed to fight bum after bum while avoiding ggg, and the list goes on and on yet here is Bradley who is facing an elite top 10 welterweight as a voluntary and they are trying to Brody him into facing sadam Ali. I am with arum on this one all the way

Being ranked #1 and being the mandatory challenger is not always the same thing.

I'm interested to see which Bradley shows up. Depending on which one, Rios could either get his ass dismantled or Bradley will win but walk away with brain damage. I have very little doubt in my mind that Bradley could box circles around Rios, but Bradley's mentality of "I need to prove to the fans that I'm an exciting fighter" is going to get him in trouble one of these days.

There was no reason for him to be taking the punishment he received against Provo but at the same time I understand his reasoning. I'd prefer none of the boxers receive permanent brain damage but it seems there's really no way to get the big boy fights if you aren't marketable, regardless of how good you are. Unfortunately for Bradley, he just isn't marketable and doesn't really excel at any attribute, but does well enough across the board.

I think Bradley vs. Ali is a much more compelling fight, it sucks that it's not happening (although I saw the writing on the wall a while ago). Should also note that Ali will likely be the mandatory for the winner of Brook-Chaves. Make or break year ahead for Ali.

They should give Ali step aside money and he should fight the winner next year, in the meanwhile he should fight sone credible opponent and ge needs to stay in shape.
