The truth.... he KO's neither, and likely loses to both.

I really wish Larry was 50 years younger. I would love to watch young Floyd batter and bludgeon Merchant. His old, out of pocket ass really needs to be taught a lesson.
      Exactly !

He is just an ignorant old ******.

The senile old fcuk probably forgot all that.

        • Whoever ducks the old Merchant, can't dare to dream about fighting GGG.

I think that reply is short enough for you to get the message.
I feel sorry for guys like that. His behavior in this thread is straight up feminine. The way he has initial opinions, more opinions to back them up, and got defensive/emotional when he got called out on them for lacking any sort of logic or contextual substance. Ugh. Isn't it weird how he (and most Floyd haters, tbh) are quick to project *******ual imagery into a debate, when they can't think of anything else to say? Sounds like a really educated guy to me.

Anyway, as others have pointed out, drunken old Larry has more often than not discriminated against black fighters who dare to master the sport of boxing AND think for themselves. Though, to be fair, he did profess his love for Derrick Jefferson. Blatant racism aside, I can't recall him questioning anytime someone like Gatti fought an underwhelming opponent. Hmm.

            • Merchant opinion here is way off especially considering he's been around boxing for a long time I think his hate for floyd is blinding him. GGG is much bigger than Floyd no reason for them to fight

              • Merchant is right, everybody is ducking golovkin...he's the greatest fighter ever..he's beat legendary fighters such as geale, murray and well those are his two best wins but those two wins carved his name in the history books!!! And what if he's ducking lara, ward and other fighers..he's just human everybody feels fear of real competition but he's still best because he punches hard and you know..

It truly is. Merchant is very transparent with an agenda. Mayweather has moved up in weight four times. Yet Merchant won't use the same criticism for Golovkin who is "afraid" to move up one division for Ward.

I can't respect that type of blatant bias. I guess he still can't get over how wrong his Canelo-Mayweather prediction was.

                    Agreed, that is whats up.

And that is shamelessly childish, for a supposed knowledgable professional.

Could be, but I think that Pacquiao was likely the last straw.

Merchant ran with that " scared " rubbish for 5 years.

Merchant rates somewhere inbetween Skip Bayless and a silly pacstain.
