It will be interesting to see what Groves has in his locker now he's in another high profile fight. Before that 2nd Froch fight he looked the part IMO, and i was certain he would go on to win a world title at some point.

The loss of Adam Booth and the KO loss to Froch seems to have taken something out of him. Badou Jack is a very winnable fight for him though.

I'm not his biggest fan but i hope he gets the win on Saturday night.

I know but Tomoki Kameda is not heavily pushed/promoted like someone who will be with TMT.

I also think the split with Booth was a BAD move.

Groves is definitely damaged as a fighter, it's easy to see. He might not be completely finished, but he'll never be what he could have been.

How the hell is Groves "finished"? He's in his mid 20's ffs. Froch talking bollocks as usual, talking with his emotions rather than his brain.

I agree he only seems to make sense when discussing Khan .

It's all on this fight with Jack whether Groves is damaged goods or not.

If he gets beat convincingly then I would say Froch has definitely knocked something out of him.

Can't make the judgement on the Rebrasse and Douglin fights for me.

HE might not be done it's just that he might never ever reach full potential.

His DeGale win looks even better now and it's saving face for his resume, but he needs to show in the ring that he's truly back on the upswing and not damaged

he should still have the edge in natural talent, should be the favorite...but Jack is a utility man who can do a little of everything, and is also a decent athlete. The stamina he displayed in his last fight was something I have to respect going into this fight because Groves, even when he was prime and with Booth had some times when he faded and his output dropped. He has no excuses now because he's been in 3 big fights in the UK and has fought in the US

I'm pulling for Groves, was a favorite prospect of mine and want to see him win a title

Groves got cobra'd pretty hard, but he is young enough to come back and win a belt. If I was as ugly as Groves I would have some pretty serious spite levels. Beware the ugly kid.
