When is Floyd and his reps gonna stop feeding us the BS that this is his last fight?! He fights every May and Sept. He may skip May to try and "convince" us. I see him fighting again later next year around this time.

Their fight doesn't need a rematch. I'm still inclined to think that Floyd will take a 50th fight at some point in a year or 2 maybe, he'll feel an itch to do it. But it won't involve Manny, or probably anyone that we would consider as being "in the picture" at the moment for a Floyd fight.

Fights used to be made based on who deserved or earned it. That era of boxing is long gone. The formula today is based on our willingness as fans to purchase a particular fight. We all have our favorite fighters, but at the end of the day we are simply boxing fans. Unfortunately, sometimes we are penalized for being just that, boxing fans, and we are fed fights that should not be made.
I am a fan of both Paccquiao and Mayweather. Neither of these boxers are retiring anytime soon. They will fight each other again. If you could do whatever it is that you love to do and make a boat load of money doing it, and not take on too much damage physically, would you keep doing as long as you were capable? Of course. If you love the spotlight and notoriety that comes with your talent. If you love the perks, if you love the fact that when you walk anywhere crowds of people follow, would you be willing to give it up prematurely? The spotlight is just as addictive as the money.

Man, it's just satisfying how the past 5 year pretty May 5th 2015, a lot of delusional boxing fans and experts really thought #48 was pm Floyd's level and even better than him. Seeing Floyd school in a white wash was hilarious and entertaining to see. These idiots thought Pac was their savior lol.

i'm a floyd fan..have no problem calling him TBE and i do wish he just retires bc there is no need to take a 0 at 40

• Stock in SHOTS (which his fighters continue to push)
• A gym
• A stake in PBC
• Residuals from replays
• A cut of all of his fighters' take

He's considering doing MMA promoting (which I think is a bad idea), and who knows what else in the future.

Floyd's going to be set financially as long as he stops dealing with the golddiggers.

Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe says there is no possibility that a rematch will ever happen between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.

The two boxers collided back on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather won a twelve round unanimous decision with few problems. There was post-fight controversy after Pacquiao revealed that he entered the contest with a right shoulder injury.

There is NOTHING to indicate that Mayweather will fight on, nothing.

Some fans are fascinated with that meaningless 49-0 record..... but I truly believe that the difference between 49-0 and 50-0 = nothing to Mayweather. He couldn't care less.
