Pacquiao's big wins against Dela Hoya, Hatton, Marquez and Shane Mosley were all wins against Floyd Mayweather's DIRECT left overs, without these fights Pacquiao wouldn't have been considered one of the best of this era.

Your own thread backfired at you big time.
Hatton was leftovers but given the way Pacquiao flattened him, that's pretty awesome compared to Mayweather's win. Pacquiao had fought Marquez twice before Mayweather ever fought him. And as far as De La Hoya and Mosley, how are they considered leftovers when Mayweather did nothing to hurt them? It isn't like he busted them up or did a Chavez-Taylor I on him. Hell, he never hurt De La Hoya at all. I don't call those leftovers. That would be like saying Duran was Dejesus's leftovers...who went on to beat Dejesus twice. Doesn't constitute leftovers until it's a crushing defeat.

this stuff prevents him from every being included in an ATG conversation

people mentioning him alongside sugar ray robinson when every win in his career has some giant asterisk next to it=lol

his management team is the GOAT, not him, they're the ones who got him that 0, but he never delivered the impressive wins vs prime opponents to make anything out of it

So by your own definition Mayweather never really fought a leftover cuz he never fought someone who's coming a KO loss or even a loss for that matter.

Pacquiao fought Morales who was coming off a loss and he made him move down in weight, Cotto had just gotten beaten and cut up a year earlier before he fought Pacquiao, Margarito was coming off a devastating KO loss to Mosley and that was at a catchweight and Rios was coming off a loss to a C level fighter, u can never say that **** about Mayweather's opponents.

The last opponent Floyd fought who was coming off a loss was Judah in 2006 and he lost a close fight and he still was the IBF champ, Pacquiao's run at 147 is laughable cuz he only fought 2 reigning title holders in his whole run and most of the rest weren't even ranked at 147 when he fought them.

Pacquiao did a tremendous job till 2008, after that it was more of him fighting bigger guys and less of him fighting the best guys, he got too much credit for fighting big names who were bigger than him but almost all of them were at a bad spot in their careers and I mentioned Pacquiao cuz he's the second best guy in the era and if u clearly better than the 2nd u r definitley the best, it's more fair to compare fighters from the same era than to fighters from different eras cuz the game changed.

Well, if you're going to knock o

n a guy who is 3 inches shorter and has a 5 reach disadvantage (because physical disparities make a difference), in terms of character:

At least Pacquiao doesn't beat his wife (and other women) or threaten his kids

Excuses....Tyson was shorter than everyone he fought

We don't know PAC didn't....what we do know is he has illegitimate kids n is an liar n cheat to his wife with a ******** habit

Well I actually wrote that leftovers constitutes coming off a crushing defeat. Gatti had endured many crushing defeats and Cotto's defeat to Pacquiao could have been career-ending. So yes, I think Cotto was basically leftovers at that point. His performances since then have not been too stellar when you consider that Martinez had no legs and Margarito had one eye to name a few.

But hell, let's be honest. They all fought a leftover at one time or another. My main point is that I do not think Pacquiao got Mayweather's leftovers when De La Hoya fought a very close fight with him and never got hurt as did Mosley. Even Hatton got worn down. It wasn't an all-out beat down.

Beyond that, Pacquiao had to go where the money was which was with the bigger, even if not better, fighters. I actually liked a lot of his earlier fights at lower weights where he was faster and his power meant more. He was a lot of un in those days.

Mosley well he was Winky's , Vernon Forrest's and even Cotto's left over

Cotto was Margarito and Manny's leftover .

Gatti well he was everyones' left over but when Floyd fights him all of a sudden Its a masterful performance.
You forgot Zab Judah but I get the point.
