I gotcha. Sttictly for entertainment purposes i agree this fight isnt that bad, its "just a fight". I would much rather there be no significant stakes on the line bcuz theres just no quality about this fight being for the strap. For Bardley this is just a pointless, counter-productive fight really. Beating Rios just doesnt improve his standing whatsoever.

Bobs BSing about HBO regarding Ali. Hopefully GBP pushes for their guy.

Top rank has gone to sh.its there so dry on roster they can't even close deals on in-house recycled fights like they used to live off.

Bradley is bigger than the WBO title and he's at the end of his career. He should just save himself the 5% sanctioning fee and take the biggest fights out there. There's not as much money for him in a Sadam Ali defense and a good chance the younger fighter could beat him.

Look at the ranking if Bradley give up his WBO belt for the money fight with Rios , its Sadam Ali vs Amir Khan for the belt

Bradley makes more money (presumably) from fighting Rios, a Mexican in United States with a name than Sadam Ali, an up and comer. Not to mention Rios should be an easy win for Timothy. People suggesting Bradley relinquish the belt cuz he is at the end of his career do not realize his next fight may not be his last fight, even if he loses I doubt it is and he needs that trinket for bargaining power.

The top brass at Top Rank—promoter for both fighters—continue to work out details for a clash that is tentatively slated for November 7 at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

One of those details surrounds the title at stake; Bradley is the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion, a crown he reclaimed following a 12-round win over Jessie Vargas in June. That fight came with the stipulation that the winner (Bradley) would next face mandatory challenger Sadam Ali, which continues to stand in the way of a Bradley-Rios fight happening any time soon.
