Comments Thread For: Photos: Wach in Beast Mode For Alexander Povetkin Bout

Polish heavyweight giant Mariusz Wach (31-1, 17 KOs) is training hard in camp for his scheduled fight on November 4 in Kazan, when he battles with WBC silver champion Alexander Povetkin (29-1, 21 KOs) of Russia.

The fight is very interesting contest and one that Povetkin is taking in order to prepare for a mandatory shot at WBC champion Deontay Wilder. Povetkin takes a big risk, with a loss costing him a guaranteed title shot.

wach is as bout as bad as they come..he's not good at one thing..at least deontay is a great right hand..wach is the type of guy that practices everything but no matter wat he just doesnt have it imo...

and with klit he should he cant deal witha great jab right hand...so therefore thats all wilder really has to do...also wilder will turn a left hook from time to time that opponents just are not ready for

He's a lot better than Wilder's last opponent. In every way.

Wach is better than anybody Wilder has fought, imo. He may be slow and predictable, but he has height, reach, stamina, power and a chin like granite.

If Povetkin walks into one of Wach's big, heavy right hands, Wilder will have a new mandatory challenger to worry about.

Good point. I don't know why I said last opponent. Wach would be the toughest fight of Wilder's whole career.

Povetkin is screwed. Wach will be on meth and steroids on fight night.
