think smith is just saying this because ward gave him a whooping

smith wouldn't see the third round vs kovalev

imo opinion kovalev would beat ward by knock out

    too big , too strong
I kind of agree, Smith comes across a bit salty here.

No doubt about Ward's level of skill, but I'd pick Kovalev for a KO in the second half of the fight.

I think it would be a good fight. If Kovalev lands some bombs then Ward is in trouble. Beating stiffs and not fighting for years doesn't make me so confident about Ward.
Remember #48 beat fighters that him and Floyd mutually had faced in more impressive fashion and he got schooled by Floyd is dominating fashion. Stop using this strawman argument it's making you look hella foolish.

I'm agreed with Smith on this one.

I'm not getting hyped till contracts get signed though.

then Ward should go up to HW and fight Klitschko like he said he was going to

This isn't an easy fight for either guy.

The Abraham jab was giving him trouble, the Kovalev jab is even better than that. Froch was the opposite of Abraham. I know Ward fans like to think he completely shut-out Froch, but Froch was coming on strong in the second half. Sakio Bika had success as well in an extremely dirty fight and landed like 200 punches on Ward.
Edwin Rodriguez was holding his own, until the referee threaten to DQ him.

Ward getting rocked by a nonpuncher at around 6:40 mark.

Ward is not going to try to box like his fans think. There is no way Ward fights from the outside, he's going to want to hold and smother Kovalev. Kovalev is going to have to man-handle him when ever Ward gets close. Also, make sure it's not the same referee from the Edwin fight, because he'll threaten to DQ Kovalev while allowing Ward to continue with his dirty crap.
Im not exactly sure what the implication of your post is , but if its suggesting that anyone who gets rocked by a good punch has no chance against Kovalev then maybe you should analyze that concept in context with this video also .

Ward fans act like Ward is unbeatable and shuts everybody down, so my post was in that regard.
Ward didn't 12-0, Abraham, Froch, Bika like his fans like to think.
I posted the video, because someone said Ward doesn't get touched, the video shows not only that he does get touched but also hurt by a soft puncher.
Some actually think Ward is even better than Mayweather. Like WTF. When have you ever seen Ward beat someone like Floyd did Gatti. He couldn't even do that to Shelby freaking Pudwill.

Atoev is not a bum like Kenny Kost is. Also, Kovalev has the power to KO Ward, does Ward have the power to KO Kovalev? I doubt it.

I can't speak for all Ward fans but I don't think ANYONE in boxing is unbeatable , and frankly it's of my opinion that Ward actually gets hit more often than I'm comfortable with . Unlike some other Ward fans I'm very comfortable objectively analyzing wards strengths and weaknesses . But as far as u claiming that ward fans constantly assert delusions regarding his invincibility , I'd have to beg to differ , as I believe that Kov carries the greater aura of invincibility which usually accompanies big punchers . In my opinion Ward/Kov is a 50/50 fight , although I'll be rooting for Ward .
