Everybody is a cherry pick to you guys. If floyd fought GGG suddenly, GGG would be is too green,(since he hasn't fought anybody) or past his prime (since he's over 30) or weight drained at 154, (since he's not a Jr. Middleweight) so that's probably not a good fight either.

i'm not pac turd nor a flo-mo...
But Good riddance.
Just because he calls himself TBE and the best boxer in the planet, it doesn't mean that his style of fighting defines what boxing is supposed to be.
He always liked to talk about health first and whatever, but the truth is that boxing is a combat sport. It's an entertainment spectacle where two men fight each other in their best of their ability.
He got away with running marathons, elbowing other fighters and tricking people into buying his PPV's. He fought inside and outside of the rules of boxing, fighting while backpedaling for his life, bending his body below the waist, pushing other people with his hands and elbows.
He said so himself, he's a rich coward.
And he's NOT the best boxer in history. Being undefeated means nothing if you don't take risks. Beating the best fighters means nothing if you fight them when they're washed up.
Only his brainwashed supporters will claim he was the best boxer in the sport.Comment

This is like his first retirement when he gave the tearful speech...and no one cared. The guy has marketed himself well and played the villain role, but there is a price that comes with that. I'm pretty sure that Ty Cobb was not sorely missed when he retired either. Antonio Margarito either. It can make you rich, but people do not respect a thug in the long run. I think, deep down, the lack of respect bothers him, but hey. He did it to himself.
