I have GGG ranked higher than Kovalev based on skill. Kovalev has a better resume, no doubt.

Both are great fighters but I feel Golovkin has more of an invisibility aura about him, whereas I think Kovalev is more vulnerable. Kovalev is more mobile and therefore people seem to think he's a better boxer, but I disagree.

    It's certainly debatable though.

      1. Mayweather
      2. Gonzalez
      3. Klitschko
      4. Kovalev
      5. Ward
      6. Golovkin
      7. Lomachenko
      8. Rigondeaux
      9. Pacquiao
      10. Lara

Worth noting that when I usually make these lists I base it on what can you do for me TODAY, not based exclusively on past achievements (although they help grading, of course). So guys like Cotto who have fantastic resumes and are legend don't automatically get a pass, because for whatever reason I don't see them being dominant as of right in this very moment.

Based on skill/talent, I wouldn't have him top 10 in all honesty, he got out muscled by Salido and had to beat a guy like Russell for the title. He has a lot of work to do on his pro style.
Almost every fighter has struggled with a style similar to Salido. Even Floyd struggled with JLC. Salido used dirty tactics unlike JLC. You haters act like Salido completely beat him up, it was a close fight. Loma out-landed him by over 20 punches.
Also, if he were to beat all of those guys, he's definitely top 5 wtf do you mean maybe he's top 5.
I do agree that he has a lot of work to do in the pros, but isn't that the case with every fighter? I don't like when other Loma fans go crazy and start talking crap, but haters also talk complete nonsense at times.

Make a perma-ban bet with me in a Lomachenko fight.

Interesting I think many lists are gonna differ big time
                1. Floyd Mayweather
                2. Wladimir Klitschko
                3. Roman Gonzalez
                4. Sergey Kovalev
                5. Saul Canelo Alvarez
                6. Gennady Golovkin
                7. Manny Pacquiao
                8. Terence Crawford
                9. Keith Thurman
                10. Erislandy Lara

There, not that bad of a list If I do say so myself.

Beating Paul Smith Jr definitely gets you ranked this highly.

I go by who would be the odds on favorite on a fight and how skilled a guy is.. Ward is proven world class guy.. Just because he has been inactive doesn't mean he isn't any lesser of a fighter.. Before froch retired he was on some lists, and no way he would have been favored over Ward in a rematch.
But I can see why some people would drop him in rankings due to activity

Seems like everyone has GGG in the top 10s now, put Wilder in there too while your at it. Some people even have GGG above Crawford, so sad.
