As long as Broner continues to prove himself as a ticket-seller in Cincinnati (while also making for car-crash TV) he should be fine, as long as he keeps winning.

Depending on which WBA belt he ends up fighting for (super or regular), Broner could set himself at 140, fight out of Cincinnatti and make a killing [Garcia and Peterson seem to be going up to 147, Amir Imam is already set to pick off the Postol-Matthysse winner, and Terrence Crawford is locked in over at HBO(thanks to Bob Arum). You look down the rest of the landscape and Broner measures pretty well]

Having said that if his promotion can get involved in PBC like it appears Mayweather's promotional arm has done it would seem like a low risk proposition. And hell with the way PBC works every headline guy could start his own promotional company & just be freelanced to promote his own shows by PBC.

Guessing the expenses on a inactive or barely active promotional company are minimal & I can't imagine this entity will be trying to compete with PBC, Arum, GBP or HBO at the start. Probably won't even be competing with Mayweather Promotions which I think has had a handful of cards over the last several years.

I've noticed in the past maybe three years, on most of the cards Broner headlines, the same group of guys are on that card. And those were usually promoted by Golden Boy and more recently one of Haymons promoter friends like Warriors Boxing or Lou DiBella. And there would be a few cards where he's not fighting, but would be there and that's usually when Easter, Warren or Bennet fight.

Now that Broner has his About Billions thing going, those cards will obviously be promoted by that company.

And of course they won't be going up against PBC, they will be one of the promotional company's that promotes the PBC cards.
