I mean lewis was great but if mcall and rahman could land the big one,, wlad certainly could too. anyway,,,I would have also favored lennox to win but id have been damn nervous for him if I was a fan

Fantasy matchup (both being trained by Steward) - Tough fight. I can see Wladimir getting the better of the match early on with his more patient and measured approach. Lewis probably has the better and more fluid jab, but he is not as consistent with it as Wlad is. As the fight goes on i see Lewis pushing the pace, being more agressive and taking command. Lewis by late TKO or UD.

Real matchup that could've happened (Wlad before Stewart): Believe it or not, i think this one could be more dangerous for Lewis. Wlad is a huge puncher and he was very agressive and would throw in high volume. But my take is that the fight looks like a more competitive version of Lewis vs. Michael Grant. Lewis by early KO.

the ignorance in this thread is disturbing. lewis as great as he was was vulnerable to right hands and wlad hits a hell of alot harder than raham or mcall plus he also has a left hook. id favor lennox but wlad would have had a very good punchers chance. anyone saying otherewise is either a lewis nuthugger or ignorant on boxing

Wladimir is better than Vitali IMO... that eye cut aside, Vitali would of won. He was winning on rounds. Vitali is more unorthodox, Wladimir is technical.

Lewis is great don't get me wrong, but he was able to get knocked out. Wlad has mastered himself, reigning for 10 years.

I agree. obviously... vitali has the better chin but he doesnt have that educated left jab or sharp punching of wladimir. wlad was always a much better two fisted puncher than vitali. vitali needed accumalation to get you out of there
