I can't even think of too many guys who want to get in the ring with Porter, let alone fight and beat him like Brook did. Most, if not all of the bad rap on Brook comes from the Pakis while defending that fraud Khan.

I don't think he's being hyped. It's only the people who have a distinct hatred for Khan who hype Brook up to superstar status. Only british boxing fans and the Hardcore boxing fans know who Brook is, i wouldn't say he's hyped. He's only getting recognition because Khan has moved in to his weight division and the public want to see them fight.

He's a good fighter, he passes the eye test.

Great body, solid all-round ability with above average defence and counter punching. Good power in both hands too and seems able to adapt and change up his tempo where necessary between exchanges.

Admittedly Porter has really been the only threat that tested these abilities, but I think Brook can fight, top 10, maybe top 5 Welterweight today.
