Comments Thread For: Fury: If I Can't KO Old Klitschko - Ban Me From Boxing!

Heavyweight contender Tyson Fury has threatened to quit the sport if he's unable to win by knockout on October 24th, when he challenges WBA/IBO/IBF/WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Fury (24-0, 18KO) says there is no way that he shouldn't be able to score a knockout over a near 40-year-old Klitschko (64-3, 53KOs), who despite his age is heavily favored to beat the challenger in style.

The Fury days are over, and he knows it. This is going to be a spectacular ass whooping by Wlad, a rare one but a brutal one none the less.

Success or failure in this fight will be determined by the effectiveness of Tyson Fury's jab...It is the ONLY variable that will allow Fury's hand to get raised at the end of the night...

I'm not saying Fury is Larry Holmes reincarnated but because of his size and workrate the jab has become a significant weapon...Perhaps he could use volume punching and his incredible girth to catapult himself towards a decision win...

Can't see him stopping Klitchko he just hasn't demonstrated that kind of power thus far...If anyone gets Ko'd more than likely it will be Fury on the receiving end...

            Bye,bye then Tyson.
Tyson should hit the deck two or three times before the end but then with Wlads delicate whiskers' and Tysons size and reach things hopefully will get interesting.
Still I will be surprised if Tysons still in there by round 8 but Wlad himself is open to the elements.
So could be a fun night

Wlad is a disgrace, he seems like a decent person but the way he fought against Povetkin destroying what could have been a good fight by his tactics of bending the rules; he deserves to be knocked out again.

Yea, people forget that Wlad can really open up and hand down a vicious beating when he feels so inclined. I don't think he takes this as conservatively as peopleare expecting and I don't buy the nonsense that Fury has much of a chance here.

Klitchko is a boring Turd when he's faced with even the slightest of danger...But he is a lethal and fast puncher. Fury has zero defense, very little speed, a bad chin rubber legs and no head movement. Even Klitchko wont be able to resist knocking this idiots football head through the goal posts. If Wlad starts extremely slow, I give Fury 5 rounds. If Wlad shows even the slightest urgency, he can take Fury out with ease anywhere from the 20 second mark of the first round on.
