Khan beats both guys but Porter would have a better chance to get the win IMO...

Porter is faster, more athletic, & most importantly Shawn is a better conditioned fighter...Ruslan could have possibly gotten to Lucas late but didn't have the energy to capitalize in the championship rounds...Also Porter executes distance fights far better than Provodnikov...

Also, if Algieri and Lucas are outboxing Provo with ease, you can beat Khan will.
Exactly, Khan will be able to backpeddle away from Provodnikovs short arms and wide punches all night. Porters pressure is more educated and he moves better then Russlan.

There is nothing Porter can learn

If someone tall is clinching you and the ref is siding with the clincher, there aint much you can do, apart for get frustrated

Madiana didnt learn shart from the Devon loss...throw him in the ring with Devon again and it will be the same outcome

Clinchers get away with clinching because the ref allows it..If Brook wasnt allowed to clinch so much, Porter wud have more than likely won..but most refs seem to allow clinching these days.

how do you stop someone from clinching you? it takes a ton of explosive energy to try and free yourself when someone has your arms locked. staying on the outside is one way but that means a certain loss for a much smaller fighter. you can also try to throw them out of the ring dawson-hopkins style but more than likely porter would be dq'd since he's the b-side. we saw this same thing happen in ward-rodriguez when rodriguez was trying to fight through the clinches and the ref was like "i'm gonna take your purse!" unfortunately the only one who can truly stop it is the ref but he's always on the take with these cowardly a-side fighters who do it.

Because when they were actually boxing, Porter got the better of Brook right?

Then you need to watch again.

FYI ***** Khan held double the amount of times against Collazo.

Reminds me of the feeling I had after Khan's last 5 fights.

Most likely the same would happen if he stepped in with Brook again, but Brook would just win even more decisively.
Broner is fairly physically strong and he tried holding Porter excessively but Porter bulled through and kept working.

See how when Broner clinched Maidana and Maidana turned into a raging bull? That's how. Name one spot in the 10 frames of the Devon fight Maidana was a bull in the clinch.

Exactly, Porter laid in the clinch a bit too much against Brook, but was ready for that tactic against Broner, and worked his way through it.

Porter has the physicality and stamina to be a bull in there, he just didn't have the right game plan/frame of mind against Brook.
