Chaves is nobody's cherry. He's a proven, rough, tough guy who won't be fazed by a hostile crowd and will, as ever, bring everything he's got. Looking forward to seeing how Brook goes about the job and whether or not he can bring Chaves down. Won't turn out to be a doddle imo. Kell should be too classy but it'll be a proper fight.

Argentina is a tough school. The names Chaves beat down there might not mean anything in the States or Europe, but the same applied to the Maidana and Matthysse victim lists when they first headed north. Chaves gave Thurman an early nosebleed and a decent fight, went tooth and nail with Rios, and although the draw he got against Bradley was more than generous his contribution to that fight was also a solid one. If Kell Brook is able to subdue Chaves without taking on much damage himself and do the job in similar time to Thurman, or quicker, it WILL boost his status further.
