Who here would criticize Mayweather if he fought GGG?

So, draining a 34 year old fighter down to a weight class he has literally NEVER fought in as a professional is considered legit?
Floyd told the public that he fights them healthy; that would be counter to his public stance. GGG is dominant at 160 - the glory in fighting GGG is at 160, not at 154Comment

GGG said himself he could make 154 for Floyd.
Absolute bull**** trying to say Floyd wouldn't get credit for beating GGG at 154. you're out of your mind.Comment

Why wouldn't I respect him for doing that
I think it is totally reasonable that Mayweather does not want to be anywhere near Golovkin. But if he had, that woulda been pretty sweet.Last edited by BrometheusBob.; 09-03-2015, 05:41 PM.Comment

He'd say anything to fight Floyd, the dude trying to get paid. DLH and Dawson drained themselves to get paid and got beat up because they were drained - its nonsensical.
I'm not advocating for Floyd to move up from 154 to 160 - I don't mind if he stays in the 147-154 range. But the question is being posed, so I'm answering. Sorry if I don't agree that making a fighter fight at a lower weight class, especially one that he has never fought in is less deserving of praise than fighting him at his fighting weight.
If Canelo said he'd fight Pac at 147, knowing he hasn't fought there since he was literally a teenager, would we be giving Pac the same credit for beating Canelo than we do for Floyd? Floyd fought Canelo at his relevant weight.
GGG at 154 is irrelevant - GGG at 160 is a Middleweight Champion with 15 defenses.
Not sure how there is a disconnectComment

You're overrating GGG bro. These guys don't think much of him they just believe he has the size and strength to beat Floyd. At 154 GGG would be drained. His only advantage over Floyd is size and power. At 160 he's lean, in order to make 154 he might have to strip muscle mass off which would weaken him especially when you're almost 34 years of age.
And people hate Floyd so much they would find any excuse to discredit the win. At 154 Floyd would likely win and I've heard several boxers say the weight would make a huge difference. At 160 GGG would likely be too big and strong.Comment

He would try to do some catchweight bull**** that would absolutely deserve criticism. If it was at the true limit of 154 and GGG got a full camp, then not a peep out of meComment
