I wouldn't be mad if Berto won

people act like he has 10 losses...he was a former ibf and wbc titleholder and that's more than a lot of the gusy in the top ten can say right now at welterweight...its a bunch of young guns who haven't separated themselves from the pack

Oh yea......remember how Floyd doesn't fight African americans....then he signs to fight one

No Complaints with a Floyd & GGG at 154

We'd all love to see Floyd with GGG at 154 that would be a PPV that would be worth seeing, this cherry picked Berto match up is a major league yawner. Absolutely no interest.

It's always how Floyd doesn't do something...until he does it.

i'm pretty sure Floyd fans and Floyd really don't care about the criticism. He's just saying the truth. Obviously if he cared he'd fight someone else. he doesn't. He's already a HOF'er, already the best fighter of his generation and also the highest paid athlete for years now. He's already home.

hes right tho there is literally no one he has ever faced where he didnt receive critique its always something. not to mention if he signs to fight someone that fighter is instantly washed up. weight drained whatever. You can hate mayweather all you want but there is absolutely no question people hate him so much that it doesnt matter what he does people will find something to complain about. whether it be cotto, mosley, hatton, canelo, pac, marquez, oscar, there is always someone people say he ducked. once he fights them they are either to green to old to weight drained its always something.

even if he were to go fight ggg he would get the same treatment he got for canelo. even tho mayweather was coming into the fight at 150 no matter the agreed upon weight. if he were to fight ggg even if he put on a master class people would still not give him credit for the win because they would say ggg was weight drained and that floyd should of let him come in at 160 because after all he does call himself TBE.

I mean honestly you can hate mayweather all you want but what hes saying is impossible to dispute because its true. if he picks thurman hes ducking khan if he picks khan hes ducking brook if he picks brook hes ducking porter if he picks porter hes ducking garcia. Thats why i dont blame him for just saying screw it i have proven everything there is to prove i have fought everyone have gotten absolutely no credit they have an excuse for every win and all they say is how boring it was. so im going to go out fight berto give the fans an entertaining fight fulfill his showtime deal and just be done with it.

The reality is people wont be happy until mayweather losses people wouldnt even care that he has literally fought everybody in his era there will always be a fighter they said mayweather ducked. if he retires after berto which i think there is a way better chance them people think they will find someone else to say mayweather retired to avoid ________. At some point the haters have to step back and just admit that even though they hate mayweather he has nothing left to prove to the fans or the doubters

Naw those flappers would make Nessie too slow. Floyd should fight Hindu god Shiva, The Destroyer of Worlds. If he can manage to avoid Shiva's four armed attack, then and only then, can he be considered the greatest of this era.

It's good to see a guy in his sport with such outstanding skills make a mint and not be at the mercy of the middle men on the safe side of the ropes.
History will be kind to Floyd as long as he keeps to his word and doesn't do a Roy Jones.
All the other unproven fighters at welter need to fight each other before shouting their silly little mouths off......Floyd is indeed light years above their sparse achievements.

At this point this can't even be debated, look at the general consensus when the Mosley fight was mentioned, Canelo, it was practically 50-50 on here between Mayweather-Pacquiao. That didn't stop the excuses from raining down.

Yeah they aren't on his level. It would be memorable if the fights were tough enough, but when you're leaps and bounds better than the opposition how is that your fault?
