If true, good for him.
I'm getting the sense that he doesn't like dealing with the press anymore.

Originally posted by IR0NFIST View PostThe only way Floyd accepts a role in a major movie is if the script has little to no dialogue, producers agree to a 70/30 split, movie is filmed in Vegas, camera man is Kenny Bayless, so on and so forth. Otherwise, it's not happening, Floyd is too insecure and socially inept to be an actor. He already has difficulty speaking at press conferences, I can't imagine him getting through a full scene without uttering the words "ummm".

Floyd is a different kind of cat though. He says he would rather be behind the scenes and I believe him. His mind simply works in a way that is unlike most other people.

He now says he’ll be hanging up his gloves for good. But according to longtime Mayweather executive Leonard Ellerbe, there will still be opportunities for the retired fighter to remain in the public consciousness.
