I think that Mayweather is way too smart for that.

If he fights #50 it will be be early/mid next year.

If not almost immediately, he wont come back at all.

Mayweather wont blow all of his money.

That 4.5mil car = 1% of his earnings over the last 18 months.

A few years ago maybe, but not now.

if he returns, it wont be for money.

Dude was mega fkn rich, richer than most A-listers..... then he signed a 250mil deal with Shotime..... then he made 275mil off the Pacquiao fight.

I dont think so, thank goodness.

I am very surprised that fight did not happen this year..... if that fight was likely, Mayweather would have jumped on Cotto already.

I am going to go against the trend......

Mayweather will retire as planned, and he wont come back.

There are lots of indicators imho, at least 4.....but could always be wrong.

I don't think he'll blow all his money but I do think the danger zone for him is legal ishhh. Just hope he cuts down on the entourage a bit and makes that circle around him a whole lot smaller.
I think the bold is more likely.....

Floyd has lost a very big step in ability he wont fight again after this because his ability will slide very quickly over the next year or 2, with fighters speed and reflex is the first to go, he wont come back to lose and all this he will be broke is ridicules he could make 50k a day just on bank interest alone and he is good friends with some of the richest high rollers in the world , he is right when he says he is blessed .

Great career great champion the time has come to hang them up .

More and more people seem to be coming to that conclusion.

              Still not buying it...... BAHAHAHAHAH

Berto is likely a genuine retirement fight, but that is not a good enough reason for me to buy it.

              Mayweathers rich already
              I owe him nothing
I have paid for a lot of Mayweather fights already, all of them I think
I will see the Berto fight anyway
I doubt the fight will be close

Definitely no reason to buy that fight, other than maybe to see Mayweather live for the first time.

I think there is a solid chance Mayweather takes a year off & comes back Next September. I don't think he fights in May much to Oscar & Canelo's delight.

I can't imagine he'll go broke anytime soon that would require a comeback for money. Like mentioned in this thread he's made over half a billion dollars in the last 3 years. If he can blow half a bill within a couple years in time to comeback that would be an amazing feat that would make Mike Tyson blush. And even if Mayweather went broke, he's rich guy broke. He'd just need to sell some of his 100M+ worth of bs & he'd have 9 digits all over again.

                    yea he is already 38

if he fights a 50th fight, it will be sometime next year.

maybe he doesn't fight in may but fights in september next year.

Old habits die hard. Floyd has a history of not being the smartest with his money.
