I really, really see nothing in Alexander. Distinctly average in every sense IMO.

No power, average speed, leaky defence, small at the weight, can only fight one way, gives up when losing....He's a guy that should have 5 losses on his record and only one really good win which was against a Maidana who looked like **** in his first fight at WW.

To me he is easily the easiest of the 3.

      "This is all Khan's fault".

NOT ONCE, did Kell Brook properly campaign to get that Floyd fight you all know why he didn't he only cares about pay-cheques and he knows that Khan makes more £££ for him than Mayweather would be willing to hand his greedy ass.

Kelltards just need to accept the fact that Khan isn't motivated by money as much as Kell is, Kell is just a finely protected British hype job what more would you expect from an Eddie Hearns fighter?

There were so many big name options, there were names that actually fans would know with the likes of Rios (be the first Brit to beat him), Timothey Bradley, Keith Thurman (they never once uttered his name with real intent) then I'm sure there are plenty more.

It's not a good fight. But a fight was clearly offered to Rios and Bradley - for whatever reason it couldn't happen in October - chaves could.

Now, with regards to other fights, he has to choose someone in the IBF rankings. It doesn't seem like you know this. Chaves was fighting for the mandatory spot, so instead of doing that, he could fight Brook straight away which will hopefully lead to a big fight vs Bradley in March.

Alexander would be an absolute cake walk for Brook.

            "campaign"?

Wow mate, you've lost it. He said multiple times he'd like the fight.

The only one who "campaigned" for it was your hero and pin up boy, Khan, who was left with egg on his face and as the laughing stock of the boxing world.

So much so that you and box-office are trying to deflect everything you can on Brook. Why doesn't Khan fight a top 10 opponent?

Alexander was coming off a loss, Algieri was coming off a loss, Diaz was coming off a draw.

Why don't you look at that first?

              C Floyd - wasn't interested
              1. Pac - injured/out
              2. Bradley - refused to travel
              4. Khan - wasn't interested
              5. Thurman - Haymon so no travel, might not even make the fight unless Brook signs with Al
              6. Porter - nothing in it for Brook, probably wouldn't travel given it's Haymon
              7. Maidana - out
              8. Chaves
              9. Ali - unlikely Arum lets him over to get beat
              10. Garcia - fanny garcia doesn't want to fight anyone good

Rios - turned the fight down
Guerrero - in bits right now
              Alexander - Khan's leftovers?

Now unless you're telling me that Brook should travel for Thurman or Bradley, and those fights are probably not going to be agreed to anyway by the two US promoters, then what was he supposed to do?

and the Argentina politics thing doesn't come into it in boxing at least not from the British side
The thread should have ended here.

Comments Thread For: Kell Brook: I'll Make a Major Statement on Chaves

Kell Brook will defend his IBF World Welterweight title against Diego Chaves at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield on October 24, live on Sky Sports.

Brook makes the third defence of his crown at his hometown fortress after ‘The Special One’ forced mandatory challenger Jo Jo Dan to retire after four rounds of his first defence there in March and then faced Frankie Gavin in his second defence in London in May, ending the Birmingham man’s challenge in the sixth round at The O2.

Meh, not really better or worse for me than facing Rios. I woulda been less reluctant if this was the fight he had in his last fight.
