It's sad that they could not get this statue done while smoking joe was alive, he accomplished all he did and held philly on his back where ever he went, instead they paid him with glorifying a movie prop for many years like if rocky was a real legend...

I love watching Frazier to this day, possibly one of my favorite Heavyweights of all time. The respect and idolizing is well deserved. He was a soft spoken man but one who seemed to have love for all who loved him. Joe was and still is one of the all time greats!

They should have done this when Joe was alive! Not right waiting this long and having a Stallone statue instead. And no, it is not a Rocky statue, it is a Stallone statue because Rocky never existed, he was fictional movie character, which makes it more ridiculous that Joe was overlooked for a fictional character. Angry as hell!! Bernard Hopkins is 100% correct about his opinion on this.
