Strange, when I read several replies I sense that the writers are more confident in GGG's abilities to walk right thru Lemieux than he himself is. GGG, himself, admitted the following: a) a 50-50 fight; b) Lemieux is the BEST adversary that he will ever have encountered; c) GGG admitted that Lemieux might punch harder than him; d) GGG realizes that Lemieux is a very dangerous foe due to Lemieux's mindset and fearless attitude; e) GGG confided that he was somewhat nervous and afraid to face Lemieux in the ring because boxing is a very dangerous sport; f) GGG realizes that this is a true TEST for him; g) GGG openly said that he does NOT know who will win because he is not God; h) Abel Sanchez himself said that he has to be confident that his own fighter GGG will catch Lemieux in the 4 or 5 round (meaning that he realizes it could go both ways)... All in all, it seems that GGG is more realistic about his own chances in this fight that the boxing pundits out there... Lemieux is no buffoons or cowards like Geale, Monroe or Stevens... GGG, by far, perfectly realizes the difficult task ahead... The fact that GGG was able to totally bully these dudes means absolutely nothing. As we all saw in Lemieux last fights, especially against Rosado and N'dam, he punches with the same ferocity in the latter rounds than he did in earlier rounds. Has anyone ever seen something like this with the exception of a prime Pacquiao and very few other boxers?

Not many think this will go to the later rounds though. Who hit's hardest - and on target - early will probably decide the winner.

GGG much better than Haters give him credit for
I'm sick of people saying GGG is good. He doesn't have any A+ fighters on his belt, most are running. Sure Ward, a man who hasn't done crap in years. That's lame. Ward needs to fix his career, it's been dead for a few years.
Here are some facts the haters ignore:
GGG has dominated some B+ fighters, the same one who A+ fighters didn't dominate.
GGG in over 400 pre-professional and professional fights has never been knocked down or stunned.
33-0 record. 30 KO's. 20 KO's in a row.
He's done it fighting the same guys others didn't do it too.
And the so called bums he fights, are only bums now after he easily destroyed them. Some were considered the next greats. Some of these guys were legit contenders to be good. But when someone like GGG comes along, he moves the goal post.
And GGG weighs in last fight at 157, he s small MW. He doesn't have to fight Ward, who just basically fought at LHW and walks around at 180.
GGG is the best MW.
Watch Canelo and Cotto vacate the MW belt. They're scared.
Lastly, there is a reason the so called A+ fighters don't want none.
Stop going to Ward, he is a LHW. GGG is a small MW who just happens to hit like a LHW. Those rumors of GGG hurting bigger guys, that doesn't mean he should get a chance to unify the famed MW division.

I like Lemieux. He showed balls taking this fight, and he has the right attitude- quiet, nervous and serious. I think people will ultimately be proven right in terms of who wins, but I still think people are not recognizing how real of a fight this is. I wouldn't be surprised to see Golovkin hit the canvas.

If "gazelles" and light footed boxers such as Guerrero and N'Dam couldn't keep Lemieux off them, how will the flat footed - but talented GGG - do it? There is no coming forward for GGG in this fight... if he does, than he meets a more vicious, stronger and faster rhino. The only way for GGG to win this bout is to outsmart Lemieux and trick him into a lethal counter punch.

If you have to reach all the way to Andre Ward to find someone who would "expose" Gennady Golovkin, then there really isn't much to expose at all.
