ppl still arguing this ish, pac walked away from a contract that benefitted him in 09. he got the money split he wanted, the date he wanted, and a 10mill per lb weight clause he wanted. and still to this day hes had more ppv fights, and sold less ppvs than floyd, and took 3 fights with marquez to outsell what floyd did in 1 fight vs marquez on ppv. cotto dlh mosley hatton all were higher ppv numbers for floyd so yes that entitled floyd to more than 50/50 once 2012 came around and there was talks again. then he broke the ppv revenue record again and that solidified this terms. like it or not but manny walked away from a deal that benefited him in 09 bc of the SAME drug testing he was now fully on board with in 2015.

Nothing to see here, just undeserved media hype

One thing to call GGG media hype, at least you can point to the fact that he hasn't fought a world class opponent. But Pac put in work.

Floyd is obviously still bitter about May 2nd. We all saw the fight and Floyd didn't dominate anyone that night. The fact that the name "Pacquiao" keeps coming up in the closing weeks to Mayweather-Berto just goes to show the media attention Floyd is trying to procure. Unfortunately for him no one is really paying attention to his fight in September.

It reminds me of something we went over in Social Psychology class; when the cult members, after being scammed out of everything they own, convinced themselves that the end of the world didn't happen because of their faith saved the world. These people will avoid the truth at all costs just to avoid admitting they were wrong.
This...they can't even tell the guy he sucks at singing, acting, basketball, etc... and all have to pretend he's the best at those. Do you really think they can mentally deal with him not being the best at boxing? It extended to the ******est **** too. Everything around Manny has to be declared the best and all other brands must suck and be degraded (Top Rank, HBO then Showtime then HBO again, Cleto Reyes gloves). It's embarrassingly pathetic and so amusing at the same time.

I know exactly what Pacs team were doing to get the ppl talkn and thinking he can beat Mayweather. It was the common opponents, with Pac fightn and beatn them after Floyd the fans naturally assumed Pac was on his level or shouldve been rated higher bcuz of the manner in which he beat em. It doesnt work like that and boxing ratings suggest otherwise..if you didnt know, which im assuming most Pac fans didnt, that when a fighter loses his rating drops. So Pacs wins over certain fighters were never gonna get him rated higher than Mayweather. Im not saying Pac wasnt phenominal bcuz his run was most indeed. At one point, in a span of just 14months Pac blew through 4 weight classes-Marquez 130, Diaz 135, DelaHoya 145 Hatton 140, which can also be a record in itself. That 8th divisional title is bunk too, still 7 weight divs is impressive.

I haven't seen much of him playing ball, and his singing is pretty bad but man his acting is horrendous.

I still think Floyd fought scared in their fight and could have gone out and stopped Pac had he not been so scared in the fight.
Stopped Pac? LOL... Delusional much? He never even hurt Pac once in the fight.. Pac did more damage in rounds 4 and 6 than Floyd did the entire fight..

This fight proves the Twilight Zone can happen in real life..

Pac won 7-5..the best Floyd did was a draw and that's a reach...

Also Pacman was in his prime in 2009, but Mayweather dodged him then and dodged him for the next 6 years. Only offering Pacquiao offers he KNEW Pacquiao wouldn't accept, ie flat 40 million and nothing else.

Ferocious brawlers like Pacman, Tyson, Frazier, Marciano only have a short time in boxing. These type of fighters are almost over by their early 30's, never mind mid-late 30's. Mayweather knew this and dodged Pacquiao until Pacquiao got old. A slick, defensive boxer who doesn't go to war lasts a lot longer than the fighters I mentioned above.
I cant wait for this low life black woman beater to go away. he is so ******** ****** to know all the money he made for a sheet fight after pac was ko'd WAS BECAUSE OF THE MEDIA COVERAGE. hope he ends up like his uncle

Manny originally grew up in a village in a country during it's civil war between the ****** *********s and the government/army and had to move out of his village to escape it. This is not a Manny nuthugging piece, dude btched out in the Floyd fight, and Floyd is the better fighter of the two but there isn't a doubt in my mind who I'd have rather been growing up. Also most of South Asian tourism growth has been in the decade the places you see now didn't exist then.

I grew up in Surabaya and in the last 10 years it's gone from having one shtty shopping centre to having 30 and several 5 star hotels. It's just a shame not a huge amount of that money filters down. It's currently 20,000 Rupees to a pound, the average wage in the Phillipines in the provovinces is $2.00 a day. Thats pretty much everywhere outside of Manila and Cebu.
******s here would be first class in the phils. ****** dwellers and the women who weigh 250+ and that is most of them do not know what poverty is or even know how to spell it
