His chances to beat Mayweather were exaggerated by fanboys and media. But his historic run and accomplishments in the sport deserve all the praise.

Don't get the 2 conflicted. Tard fans and casual talking media heads on ESPN don't diminish what Manny Pacquiao has accomplished in boxing.

Funny that someone brings up Manny ducking Yuri Foreman (5' 11" killer with 26% KO, that Manny's leftovers destroyed) , when the guy they are defending ducked Williams and Margarito.
So he ducked Foreman, unknown fighter with no power, to fight Clottey (good fighter, fought well against prime Cotto and Margarito, 2 fighters that someone you like avoided at the same point) and Margarito?
Foreman would have got beat worse than Algeri.

Also Floyd is right about Manny, he will never be on his level.
Floyd is the TBE, The Best Ever cherry picker.
There is no doubt about that.
It is hard to avoid fighters, sometimes you have to retire to avoid. Other times you have to fight weak opponents while they beat the prime out each other.
Floyd has a better record, but Manny is by far the more memorable fighter.
The 4 Marquez fights and 3 Morales fights were some of the best of the last 15 years. They both stopped scoring KO's a long time ago (both are small 147, plus most opponents have never been stopped), but Manny's fights are more fun to watch.
Bottom line they are BOTH ATG fighters, no way around it.
Their fight that happened way too late, doesn't mean anything. Manny showed with the 2 flurries he had, that the fight would have been close.
The only thing I remember about the fight, is Manny not accepting defeat like a man (Argullo didn't even complain when Pryor cheated him), then he claims an injury, another cowardly move (I read about Tommy Hearns broke his hand on Hagler's head, but didn't want people to know because it would have took away from Hagler).
So I don't really care for both anymore, but they are both head and shoulders above their peers (like the big 4 of the 80's).

and your boy is fake too. Fought everyone but Diego corrales , that was a safe opponent or over the hill. De la Hoya, Pac, etc. We all know mayweather is a woman beater and a prime time cherry picker. What a douche. He fought in an era where there wasnt as much competition for him.(Wish he would have fought in the era of Leonard, duran, benitez, hearns, hagler, pryor, chavez, pea whitaker) Really the guy likes to talk and mkaes himself look like some kind of robin hood. manny was far more past his prime than floyd without a doubt. manny has accumulated far more wear and tear and was deeply affected psychologically by the marquez KO (never was the same animal since). floyd took a lot of strategic "retirements/vacations" to preserve his prime while the rest of his competition beat each other up. this is really not hard to understand. also floyd's very defensive style doesn't allow him to sustain too much wear and tear at all further preserving his prime years. so age has nothing to do with it.

Let me translate for you: Floyd has been able to fight longer because he's a better boxer. He's not reckless and didn't run into JMM's power punches. In fact he dominated JMM while Manny had 1 draw, and 1 KO defeat to the same man. By your logic Manny was washed up after the JMM KO. Therefore his washed up win over Bradley proves Bradley wasn't ****, even though we all knew that after Provodnikov nearly murdered him! So basically Manny wasn't **** when he fought Rios, Bradley, and Algeri! However, the whole world was so sure he could beat Mayweather on May 2nd. How did that happen? "The Media," just like Floyd said! So we shouldn't even been having this debate! What Floyd said is true, Manny was built by the media, and was never on his level!
