Isn't floyd 2 or 3 years older then Manny? I wanted floyd to get knocked out but i knew Floyd would win. I never gave Manny a chance after he got knocked out by JMM. Floyd dominated jMM. Manny is a great fighter but Floyd is on another level. Both going to the HOF but Floyd is better..,

Manny is NOT just a brawler, man. He is a complete fighter. What we found out on May 2nd, is that his ring IQ was under-rated. His timing, counter-punching, and defense was also vastly under-rated. He outpointed Floyd honestly. We, the people can care less about what the judges thought, CompuBox, or the commentators. They were all on crack that night and had no idea what they were watching.

Don't forget 99% of fighters and trainers and 16 out of the 18 media outlets that covered the fight, I guess they there was crack in the water then that everybody in Las Vegas didn't see what you saw. Unbelievable!

age has nothing to do with who is more past prime than another. manny although younger by only 2 years is still far more past prime than floyd because he has accumulated farrrr more wear and tear. accumulating wear and tear greatly contributes to shortening a fighter's prime. that is why a lot of aggressive fighters are retired/done in their late 20s or very early 30s. all this wear and tear takes a lot out of a fighter both physically and mentally. floyd has been able to avoid this type of punishment because he hasn't had a lot of fights (not compared to manny), he hasn't been through a lot of grueling back and forth type fights eating big punches like manny because he always plays it safe and defensive taking LITTLE RISKS, he also took a lot of strategic "vacations/retirements". he let his competition beat eachother up and he swoops in to clean up the pieces. understand????????

nothing troll like about saying manny was without a doubt the best fighter from 2000-2009. that's just truth. no debate. no one had accomplished more than manny, no one had been in more memorable upset wins/fight of the year wins/pure action type wins than manny.

Look man if the only way you can accept the loss is to retroactively call Manny shot when you were confident he would win before the fight, so be it. I get it, take away from the victory by pretending Manny was done after the JMM KO. Not a big deal.

The "destructive force" Manny chose not to fight in 2009 over PED testing (we now see why in the lead up and aftermath of the May 2nd fight) and chose to turn down $40 mil to take less to fight JMM a 4th time-the fight he got KTFO.

Perhaps had Manny shown a little spine-he was reluctant (afraid) to fight Zahir Raheem after he destroyed Morales and avoided Dimitry Salita (he was "too tall" at 5'11) but fought Margs at 151, who was also 5'11 but not "too tall" instead-and fought Floyd when he was prime he may have beaten Floyd.

There is a reason Manny avoided Floyd, Zahir and Salita-because fighters with a longer reach that know how to box have the tools to neutralize Manny's offense.
