Besides this not being PPV worthy, there were better options out there than Berto. If there was not then I would get it but that is not the case here. Floyd criticized other potential fighters then cherry picked Berto.
Who were the better options? Who have they beat that makes them a good win for FMJ? Based on lack of quality opposition, Brook, Thurman, Porter do just as much as Berto for Floyds status...Thurman hasnt really accomplished anything at WW, Brook has the title but its kinda pointless with his opposition level..Porter, altho lost to Brook, has beat better fighters and has a better case than Brook ironically. Berto has done alot more than these guys in terms of accomplishments which is how this fight will be rated when its all said and done. Boxing101-Wins are rated on.the stregnth of the opponent and the strength of the opponent is based on who they have fought, right?.so in that sense, Brook, Porter, Thurman do very little for Floyds status. Khan? All his credentials are at 140, beating Khan AT WELTERWEIGHT does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for Floyds status.

What a dellusional FLoyd tard, thinking Berto is just as good as port Thurman or Khan? Hell even Petereson is better than Berto, and a rematch with Guerrero,

Special K, Erol Spence, Andrade, Bradley, Bassically its harder to name someone that isnt' a better fight than Berto than someone who is.

        lol basically.

This fight has virtually no interest for anyone except the (anti)Mayweather fans who are finally right that Mayweather is fighting a bs opponent after years of calling every opponent a bs opponent on Sunday (some before Sunday, but generally all Mayweather opponents are gonna beat him or be competitive by Mayweather antifans til Sunday when they suck for x, y or z reason). Everyone else seems to be in "I don't like this fight, but I understand mode" with some feelings of a potential backlash if Mayweather doesn't actually retire after this fight.

Mayweather gets criticized for ALL his fights lol. Everybody Mayweather fought since beating Oscar sucks on Sunday morning. This opponent just happens to suck on Saturday morning too.

I would advise you to check boxrec or the record books. Plenty of fighters have had a limp **** final opponent. I think as usual people are trying to make something Mayweather does as a worst evil than when others have done it. And as I said Mayweather takes **** for all his opponents so this fight is no different this time its just more deserved.
Firstly get your facts straight.....Ali was way past his prime and came back to face berbick after getting battered by Holmes a year before so Ali was not relevant...it was the the same for Tyson...Tyson was used up by the time he lost to danny Williams ..u have your wires crossed...were talking about a fighter who is number one in the world at his weight...who self proclaims to be the best ever.....and decides to fight a fighter with no form and to add insult to injury is charging 70 dollars ppv for it.......all the fighters you mentioned were not defending champions so get it right....most all time greats don't walk away voluntarily they take a dangerous fighter that actually forces them into retirement ....so check box recs for your knowledge.......floyd is taking the easy route out and trying to mug people off in the process......your comparing fighters who are way past there prime...that have not been top of the tree at here weight...to mayweather who holds the belts....who says he is the best...who wants massive paydays and then chooses bum to finish his career.......get the **** outta here lol

haha! Ellerbe is so full of it. Floyd is your bread and butter. If it were really your choice you'd want him to fight as many years as he physically can. Another ploy to try and convince us that this is Floyds "last" fight.

                  He doesnt need to.

The man is 38 and, if he wins, he will retire as an ATG, HOF, and the best of this era with his mind and body still functioning properly. No need to fight anymore but up to him. Some cant get away from the lights

Dude Berto can KO Khan..lets dont even bring that chump up bcuz even Bertos accomplished more than him at WW. Wins arent rated off media hype, like i said wins are rated by the strengthof the opposition and the strength of the opposition is based on who they have fought..whether you agree or not isnt the point bcuz thats just how boxing is...Thurman hasnt done anything, hasnt beat anybody. Bradley wouldve been the best option though i agree..Brook, Thurman, FK NO! Dodged too many top guys.
